Hey Guys! I need your comments / advice.
When I was on my way to work, I happen to pass by EDSA / Estrella. It was raining then and on that area is flooded above-ankle deep. Then, my car began to loose power and it came to a stop. After about 3 mins., I cranked the car and it started, but once I press the accelerator pedal, it stops. I managed to get the car on the side. Waited for 5 mins, then car starts. What I did was put the tranny in the "2", and the car slowly creeped out of the area. What do you guys think what went wrong?
I appreciate your comments & suggestions.
Alwayz Yummy, I thought kasi, nawalan ng koryente kaya ayaw mag-ignite..so pinasukan pala yung a/t...pwede kayang magpa-flush sa mga petron centers? saka palagay na rin kaya ako ng bagong atf kasi, kahit naka on yung o/d, tagal mag-up shift, sa tingin ko lang, kapag di pa uminit yung langins sa loob, eh di pa sya mag-up shift....
oo pwede sa mga gas stations. dapat na rin palitan a/t trans oil mo, parang tagal na yan di napapalitan ah..baka blessing in disguise diin yan para magawa mo na agad mag flush ng transmission habang wala pang major problems kundi mas lalong malaki gastos mo in the future.
BlueBimmer, pwede na siguro yung Petron ATF, or Castrol ATF?
I doubt if ankle deep water can reach your auto tranny. Baka mabilis takbo mo then nag splash yun water sa engine bay mo. Nabasa yun mga sensors kaya di mag start. After a few minutes nag dry na siya because of the heat ng engine. Anung car ba ito?
