Alwayz Yummy,
In your own opinion, which is better: ipa-overhaul ang tranny or bumili na lang ng surplus? Ok ba yung a/t repair shop sa malapit sa kokoy's? Any idea kaya kung magkano repairs nila? Contact number nila?
kay a/t master, nagpaquote ako for my former delica-->4wd matic 50,000 labor+parts, not pa kasama ang baba/kabit ng a/t + atf pa...pero bago lahat...
sakit talaga sa ulo to repair damage on an a/t... it happened to our Mazda FAmilia before that's why now i'm soo diligent when it comes to checking and changing ATF (we change ATF every 20,000 or 25,000kms).
paconvert mo: eto sagot ko naman: gusto ko din convert to m/t to kasi power robber ang a/t:
manual 4wd tranny for my lite--15,000: no fly wheel, clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing.
labor for body works..clutch master kit(if fluid-type), manual tranny shift lever, pipings, hose..gas/pamasaheng uubusin mo paghahanap ng clutch lever system for your ride...
if your a/t is elctronic and your engine is EFI: reretain mo ang sensors ng a/t or palit ka ng ECU for m/t-->eto ang siguradong mahal
i added up all-in all: +/- 30,000 magagastos ko din...
matibay naman ang matic, alagaan mo lang, wag mo kalimutan mag palit ng langis, at linis filter yearly, ok ka na...pero i plan to go trailing with this lite, to save me space for the ATF oil coolers i rather convert it to m/t nalang for efficiency even on long trail rides...pero ipon muna...
Why do you need to change flywheel when converting from AT to Manual transmission?
Nagpa-convert na ako dari ng old school Isuszu 4FB1 but we did not replace flywheel, hinugot lang ng mekaniko yung center ring ng crank shaft. Maliit yung butas ng crank shaft pag A/T kaya di papasok yung sa Manual. So you will need to remove the adaptor center ring, the mechanic welded a bended U nail doon sa center ring and pulled it by chain block pulley attached to the rear differential.
Also the ringer or the gear of the flywheel of isuzu 4FB1 can be remove and place back upside down, Pag gastado na yung ngipin ng flywheel due to starter gear friction puedeng baligtarin yung gear ng flywheel.
Just don't know if the Mitsubishi engine also has this kind of dual design that can pulled or place whenever or which type of transmission is to be installed.
