A/T problem

Need help! My mmc glxi Automatic transmission has a prob. Everytime I'm on drive and my car is running, sometimes it doesn't react when I step on accelerator. D tumatakbo pag nag-accelerate ako. What I do is shift it to park or neutral then shift it back again to drive tpos tumatakbo na. It seems the transmission slips to neutral while on DRIVE mode. Advise please. Thanks!

do this happen after you step on the brakes while on "D"? when you push the accelerate pedal again, it does not run anymore?

if it is, you could be running out of ATF...

most ATF measurements should be car running on "P" then measure your ATF...

happened to me when I based my measurements on turned off engine...

though better check manual for sure...

Ganon nga. When I step on brake then it doesn't respond when I accelerate. But I just filled my ATF. Ano pa kaya other reasons? Thanks so much!

so you measured your ATF while engine is running?

could be strainer/filter dirty or wrong ATF type...

did you just fill/add your ATF? or did a whole ATF change?

if you did what rion told you and the problem still there,then you might have a transmission band problem,have somebody to adjust that.

I'll ask my cousin on how he changed the ATF. Neway, if I get to correct the ATF concern and still prob will persist, I'll hve the transmission band checked as suggested. Thanks!

nangyari na din sa akin yan.. Pero once lang.. and never happen again. I even have my car check sa car dun sa console nila. Walang nakita.
