That's why I suggested to take the solenoid off the reins of the BCM. Older cars did not have this solenoid.
Yes the proper way is to check the circuits wire by wire and check the BCM. Better yet try with a known good working BCM. The TS is trying to reach out for a solution maybe because that was how much he is willing to spend on it.
I still did not get the type of car with the brake light switch on the negative side of the load.

if ever, baka i permanent ko nalang yun shift lock na naka disable; unless may uber negative effect ito (aside from possible SUA).
