ATF WS is not compatible to ATF T-IV. You should use Toyota ATF WS or Multi-vehicle ATF that is compatible to ATF WS. Read the bottle.
TOYOTA T-IV ? TOYOTA ATF WS ? May i to replace? | ATF, Differential, Trans, Brakes, P/S | Bob Is The Oil Guy
"Toyota does clearly indicate that THEIR own ATF-WS is NOT compatible with T-IV or Dexron ATF and they recommend only the WS be used in vehicles that call for it. It makes perfect sense that they are not compatible because the additive chemistry is different. This is the same reason you should never add "magic" additives to ATF's to convert one to meet another spec - leave the chemistry work to the reputable ATF manufacturers since they spend enormous amounts of money in engineering and testing of their products."

Dexron 3 is a type. As for t-iv, use toyota'sit cost me 460/L but i think prices differ depending on the toyota branch? I just read it in some comments here in tsikot. Best to compare
[but pls check your manual, not sure if t-iv is recommended]

not sure which dex3 you need but checking some documents type4 is same sa dex3 g/h.. so it might be compatible. but a toyota mechanic can better answer your question better.

My Diesel innova has 65k km and I haven't replaced my atf, ever.
The manual says Toyota Genuine ATF Type-IV. My concern is, do I have to get this exact brand or type. Where do I source this out, are there other legit sellers or casa only? Can you guys recommend a trustworthy and competent shop do this procedure. QC area sana guys. Happy New year!
toyota type4 is not fully synthetic. go for mag1 fully synthetic multi atf from powertorq congressional.
have your diff fluid changed also.
another option is zix performance they have toyota fluid(equivalent) too.
