Changing ATF Fluid completely (DIALYSIS PROCESS)

hi! ask ko lang baka meron dito naka toyota revo 2000 glx model na nagpalit na ng atf. kasi yung sa amin, nag palit last july 2017 at 113,180 kms (pull down oil pan and throttle body, as per my nephew, as per mekaniko). then this week, pinalitan ulit kasi hindi na mag shift or hirap na mag shift (not sure kung 2nd or 3rd gear). then nung pinalitan, ma itim na ulit yung fluid. kaya ba maitin at hindi mag shift bcoz hindi na drain lahat ng atf? any idea kung ano ang tamang atf (type or grade) para sa revo 2000 at kung ilang liter? i already emailed toyota bicutan, pero wala pa sila reply.

We used dexron 3 sa revo namin. But if you have the budget, use Toyota's Type-IV. I remember we bought 9 or 10 liters, kasama drain.

As with the clean oil, strainer should be cleaned, too! Dapat pakita nila sayo na malinis.

is dexron 3 a brand or type of an atf? pwede din kaya ibang brand as long as it is type-iv? tama ba understanding ko na yung 9 to 10 liters kasama na dun pinang flushing nyo?

Dexron 3 is a type. As for t-iv, use toyota's it cost me 460/L but i think prices differ depending on the toyota branch? I just read it in some comments here in tsikot. Best to compare [but pls check your manual, not sure if t-iv is recommended]
