Ask ko lang po total cost ng atf dialysis.
Nun nag compute ako medyo namamahalan ako.

Car is toyota innova 2012 diesel at running 81Tkm
Sabi ng mechanic the atf is brownish. Not reddish pink.

Eto break down.

Dialysis machine usage at 1200
12 liters of flushing oil each 250 subtotal 6000
6 liters mag1 atf each 500 sub total 3000

Total cost 10,200


Meron pa akong isang rav4 95Tkm balak ko ren pa atf flush kaso ganyan ba talaga dami ng flushing oil and ganyan ka mahal ang atf flush kala ko parang change engine oil lang yung presyo (around 4k)

No need for flushing oil.
Dapat straight na Mag1 atf gamitin mo. You can also use other brands like zic, mitasu or castrol para mas mura and same specs rin naman.

Pag sa gasoline station sir 1500 labor. Change atf and strainer(filter) na. Mas ok pa sa dialysis sa tingin ko.

Dayuhin mo sir sa Exalta banawe 600 lang ang labor. Mag source ka na lang din ng 12 to 14 liters ng Castrol Transmax * 330 per liter sa mga auto supply. Kasama na dun yung pang flush. I think di naman ganun karami na 12 liters ang pang flushing pa lang kung via dialysis naman kasi makikita mo naman sa machine kung brand new na yung nahihigop niya. Di pa maganda kung ibang ATF pa yung gagamiting pang flush.


Take ko naman sa drain and fill method ka sa ATF eh kahit mga 3 drain and fill method ka, di pa din 100% brand new ATF yung nasa loob ng tranny mo. Much better kung palit ATF filter and dialysis method ka.

Same here. We've already had A/T issues before and they car just doesnt feel the same after so i really also subscribe to using the OEM fluid to reduce possible issues. You can always purchase them at a dealer or OEM auto supply then have your suking tindahan do the work.

2005 Toyota Innova G 2.0 (Gas):

Mechanic quoted me 6,000 for Dialysis w ATF (10 Liters of Dexron III) and labor. He said this is what Toyota uses na instead of T-IV. Is the price reasonable? Odo is 120k.

Depends on the ATF they are using. Also, double check with the owner's manual on the applicable ATF specifications for your Innova before agreeing to the offer of the mechanic. Try to ask how much for labor only then you supply the fluid for the process.

If the car is fairly well maintained (no issues with the transmission and the fluid has been replaced as required by the maintenance schedule), then a standard drain and refill is okay.

Mga sir ask ko lng po kung ano pinaka maganda gawin sa car when it comes to changing ATF? I owned a lancer 97 glxi AT, running at around 174+++ kms na. second owner na ako. Wala naman issue with the tranny kaya lng hindi na mahanap ng previous owner yung service record ng car. Last time I checked e dark colored na ung fluid sa dipstick. Advised ng isang mechanic sa gasoline station ay drop pan lang daw ayus na. Pero gusto ko sana malinis entire tranny ko. So ayun, still can't decide kung ano gagawin ko. I read here somewhere na mas advisable daw sa old model car ay drain and refill na lng instead of the dialysis process. Please help. Inputs will be highly appreciated.

why did you wait til the color changed?

you can drop the pan if there is a replacement trans filter available.

drain and fill works fine and i would do it twice if the color isnt like new...
