I'm having problem with my speedometer, its not stable (up&down pointer) at shifting to high gears are delayed and medjo hirap umrangkada esp s paahon.. pls help...

i have a mitsubishi lancer 2005 cvt. i cannot shift to reverse and park. ok naman ang takbo kapag nasa drive. ano po kaya ang problema. anybody experienced this? saan po kaya pwedeng iparepair sa batangas area? currently only 120km. salamat po in advance.

just changed the cvt fluid last year. sa mismong mitsubishi casa.symptom is ayaw talaga pumasok ng shifter sa reverse and park.

I wonder if they used the right cvt fluid. im not sure if the current cvt fluid for the mirage/g4 is backwards compatible with the old 1st gen cvts...

thanks for the reply. how will i know po kung tamang cvt fluid ang inilagay nila. Normally when you send your car for servicing in casa, you just put your car in the workshop and you just wait at the lounge. Is there a way to check po ba? and in case maling cvt fluid ang inilagay nila, may liability po kaya ang kasa?

i will look for the receipt and check. can changing to a recomended cvt fluid fix this? or sira nasira na talaga ang tranny ko?

old tranny bro. almost 20yo. it could be solenoid or actuators or tcm or maybe just the fluid..

or baka need cleaning ng sensors...

sir aside sa mga mentioned mechanic sa thread na ito, meron ka pang recomended. 2005 model yung lancer ko, 20 year old po ba ang tranny nito? salamat uli.

every 50K km sir. so bale every 5 years yung previous 2 cvt fluid change. hindi kasi masyadong gamit yung car ko. kaya 10k lang per year ang takbo.

5yrs is toooo long. even if the tranny is sealed, the cvt oil degrades over time.


most unopened oils have a shelf life of 5years. paano pa pag nasa transmission na..

update on my automatic transmission problem. out of desperation, i sent my car to mitsubishi casa. turns out it was only a broken shift knob. not so serious. however they are asking me for 8500 for the replacement. so i declined. hanap na lang sa surplus, hehehe. paid only 500 for the check up.

kudos to mitsubishi lipa for a good diagnostic. luckily, did not sent it to fly by night mekaniko. baka binaklas na ang ang transmission ko. for the meantime tis muna sa ganito. at least usable pa.
