ATF change

I was reading the manuals of our AT rides for the atf replacement :
Toyota - replace only when necessary or when driving regularly in harsh conditions
Honda - every 60kkm
Hyundai - every 90kkm

I guess the practice / casa schedule of replacing atf every 40kkm is because of the heavy traffic on the Metro (???)

been driving my corolla ae92 (manual) for seven years without changing transmission fluid, so far wala pa naman masamang nangyayari sa transmission ko...

Kaya pala nung nagpapalit ako ng Altis 2003 ATF last year mukhang okay pa naman. That is after more or less 8 years.
