Coasting in Neutral or Gear to Save Gas - Coasting and Fuel Economy
So it’s coasting in gear or coasting in neutral (freewheeling). CIG would consume no fuel but CIN, while dangerous, consumes a little fuel (as much as idling in traffic. Article says 4 gallons per hour). My drive computer would attest to this.Last edited by bloowolf; July 29th, 2018 at 07:36 AM.

September 25th, 2018 04:51 PM #22I must say I have a great driving habits. I agree with #1, #2 and #4. Specially number four. Tailgating increase the chances of collision. Which is why trucks has a sign "keep distance". However, most motorists doesn't practice it which is really bad.

If a collision happens, trucks have a bar at the rear to prevent a car going under the truck. This guard is known as a "Mansfield Bar" - named after actress Jayne Mansfield who was killed when the car she was riding crashed into the back of semi-trailer truck.

OT:
Jayne Mansfield's three-and-a-half year old daughter, who was sleeping at the back of the car when the accident occurred, is Mariska Hargitay ("Law & Order: Special Victims Unit").
The assumption that the vehicle runs on the road, the ECU is more than likely a match. Try cleaning...
