This is the reason why I have to identify the exact ending of the conduction sticker of our new ride...

I am almost certain that I will get its plate in at least 6 months.....

you can probably request for your choice of last digit of the conduction sticker of your new car.. but my SA says they (the car dealer) can not promise the last digit of the permanent number plate..
and there is no relation between the conduction sticker and the permanent number plate..

You can request if there are lots of stocks of the particular model, variant, and color you're looking for. In my case when I was buying, I couldn't choose because finding a unit within my time constraint was hard enough.

officially, my SA insists it is not possible to promise a digit.
but there are inputs in these threads, that they were able to request their choice of EP from the person behind the LTO counter...

if my SA says he can promise.. i'd be there in a heartbeat, buying a new car..
as it is, i'm scanning olx, for cars that already have permanent plates...

You can reauest for those special plates which start at 20k.

When i got my car last Oct 2014, they initially gave me a 3 plate but i complained as i advised my agent that i wiuld get any plate except 3 and 4 since our other car had that plate. In one week napalitan ng 5.

Pero my officemate who got from subaru was not able to get her plate replaced.

I hope this is always the case. Since mukang balak akong perahan ng SA ko. Sabi ko kasi wag lang monday or friday yung coding, sabi nya malamang may bayad daw, processing pa ORCR ko kaya di pa namin napag uusapan masyado.

Nagbayad din ako sa SA. I did not have the time to go to LTO and at the end of the day, mas mura pa rin kaysa bumili ng bago or even yung special plate.

My former boss and other office mate decided to get new cas from mazda. Di ko afford yung solution na yon
