Coz’ passengers getting on/off the bus will be on the middle of the road. Without barriers? not safe.

And lines on the road? Pinas to, suggestion lang yun and to some design lang yan.

it's another mistake in an attempt to correct a previous mistake.
i see no reason why they had to make that dedicated lane on the leftmost side...
the previous dedicated lane on the rightmost lane was working reasonably fine, naman.

a former government authority did say that that dedicated lane on the left had been proposed before, and discarded.
but when the dis-approving authority left, someones decided it was time to re-file the plan. the second time, they succeeded.

at least naman,
no one will destroy his fender when he goes over that double yellow line.
eh, hindi ba, roadway safety is the encompassing rule in roadway design?
putting those concrete barriers in the middle of the roadway, isn't road safety. the regular occurrence of barrier-versus-bumper attests to that.


don't our roadway administrators know?
roadway safety is all about protecting the stupid driver from himself. the intelligent, disciplined drivers, they do not need protection as much..

i still believe removing them altogether and replacing them with double yellow lines is the better move.

but bringing the special lane back to its original location at the right, is even better.

Pinipilit kasi nila yung BRT concept, eh wala naman facilities to actually run the inner lane as a true BRT.

Was in Makati last Friday. First time I think since the lockdown. On the way there at around 2pm no problem but pauwi ng mga 5pm grabe pa rin! Took me 2hrs & 40 mins from Forbes to Scout area.

probably because with our usual traffic policy on non-edsa roads and on pre-2020 edsa,
where the fast lane is the one on the left.

To instill discipline na hinde yata talaga likas sa mg a pilipino. To forced passengers and drivers to stop on loading/unloading zones and walang istorbo na mga pumapasok lumalabas sa mga establishments na sasakyan or even yun mag exit ng EDSA sa secondary roads.

All of these are not needed kung sumusunod mga Pinoy, but matitigas talaga ulo walang pakialam sa mga rules and regulations Kaya ginagawang mga bata.

Both passengers and drivers are equally to blame

Yes, +1! Majority mga walang discipline... i don’t pano uunlad ang traffic sa pinas... kahit sa amin, mga tricycle driver kanya2 baba and sakay ng pasahero... bigla hihinto sa gitna ng daan para mag baba and sakay...

Mali talaga na instead na paluwagin yun kalsada eh pinapasikop because nilaglagyan ng barriers, dati kay Bayani ganyan din mga matataas na barred na screen.

Ideally yun double yellow lane paint lang dapat eh pero hinde talaga umubra dito dahil hinde naman si susunod kung walang physical na barrier. Kahit quadruple yellow lanes pa ipinitura nila diyan wala pa rin susunod. Kaya tama.lang yan meron physical.barriers.
