ibig ko sabihin doc yung mga common tao lalo na yung mga arawan ang sweldo eh walang gaano pakialam sa virus kasi mas importante may makain for the day. So ini-example ko mga gwaridya, saleslady, palengke man kasi tuloy pa din buhay nila. The president showing up jan sa checkpoint border eh telling them na sama-sama tayo dito.

    das bitor!

    also,
you should remove "peenoise" from your vocabulary.
it means, noisy urination. but you already know that.

maybe....but the writing was on the wall - china, hong kong, japan, singapore, south korea, iran, and even italy.

the president has always been surrounded by learned people, who i would assume, keep him informed of matters important to our nation's welfare. i mean anybody who watches tv and is internet connected would have been aware of the viciousness of the new plague. instead he had his glazy eyes focused on the abs-cbn closure.

you can just imagine if some pro-active measures were enacted last month. i reckon that allowance of weeks would have bought some time to arm our health professionals - such as yourself and my sister - w/ the appropriate equipment at the very least.

anyhow, doc, i don't really remember that much anymore, but was the anxiety as big as this at the beginning of the aids epidemic - in the freewheelin' west anyway?

All hubris and misplaced bravado. How can you expect the 16M to exercise proper hygiene and social distancing when their idol is ignoring all protocols?

Nakakahiya daw gawin. Ayan ang resulta.

all new illnesses and scientific breakthroughs that somehow go against established norms, initially meet with skepticism.
science is full of such examples.

that liver cirrhosis is an incurable illness..

at one time, "gay bowel disease" was found in the index pages of respectable medical text.
the term has since been dis-continued, and a less-incriminating term is now in use.
"infections and inflammations in the lower gastro-intestinal tract of the immunocompromised."

Painting himself as our savior, when it was his complacency that brought us here in the first place. Pathetic. Remember his famous words -- he'll just slap the veerus silly and that will be the end of that? Guess the veerus is laughing right now.

There's a checkpoint on MRT Ave near C5 manned by Army and Taguig TMO set up just this morning. They're checking IDs and body temps.

Talked to the owner of our nearby big sari-sari and he said there are no problems yet with our food supply. The talipapa and most of the food stalls on the main road are still open. I also see some Grab Food riders on the road. Hope it stays that way.

^yes,I heard that too. A friend still worked yesterday & there were a few travelers on the road. Maybe due to additional deaths & new cases. There is also non compliance to the enhanced CQ. They are stricter.

Taguig has been placed on lockdown starting today. Saw an FB post yesterday of someone who had a condo in BGC and she was thankful she saw the announcement early so she had time to pack up her stuff and go back home.

They didn't ask us where we were going on the way out. I guess they saw we were residents when I showed them my ID on the way in. I don't know what's happening at the city limits though.

    i have a suggestion.
if you are healthy enough naman,
    "walk."
walk until you reach the border, wherein your sundo can pick you up.

if you reach a functioning transport route, you can make sakay if it suits your objective.

if you are lucky, a government vehicle tasked with shuttling ride-less folks, might just be going your way and give you a ride.
