Wag ka na kumuha nun, plano din nila i-phase out like EasyPass naman sa SLEX.

Hassle yung sa NLEX, kase pag nagpalit ka ng sticker, palit account din (bayad ka uli P500 then wait mo 15 days ma transfer yung balance sa old account). Di katulad sa AutoSweep unli palit ng sticker (P200), same account pa din.

Nag reflect na sa balance ko yung bills payment ng Metrobank. Matagal lang pero walang service charge.

btw madali lang ba malipat load if palagay ko sa labas ng windshield nalang?
i dont mind paying 200 replacement, basta wala hassle sa paglipat ng load.

As mentioned above, walang replacement, palit account agad then transfer balance. Also walang windshield na exterior application. Either sa loob ng windshield or sa headlight/bumper/grille area pag external.

MODS: probably we can rename the thread to Expressway ETC thread or something. hehe

nakita ko easytrip rfid sticker ng friend, headlight mounted sa kanya. parehong pareho lang nun nasa windshield ko. mali kaya ginawa nun nag install nito kaya di gumana?

I honestly didn't know (based from a previous comment here) that EasyTrip RFID seems to work "better" if on the "right side". I just so happened to have both my Easy Trip RFID stickers on the Right Headlight, while Autosweep RFID on the left headlight (for symmetry).

It hasn't ever failed (yet). I don't think "consolidating" on one Autosweep RFID makes sense since both accounts are exclusive and separate anyway. Having different stickers means (and on different sides) means I have less things to deal with should one side suffer from collision damage on the front.

Windshield is also tinted with VKool OEM and was told it wasn't advicable to put the Autosweep RFID Sticker placed because of the tint.

For EasyTrip, when I went to Shell Balintawak, they had a list of all tints that "would not work", and Vkool is there. I forgot if they specifically mentioned all UV Reflective/Rejection Tints.

so kahit sila naglagay ng rfid sticker, parang gusto pa nila ako magbayad nun 200 php.

sabi ko with waiver, install nya sa top mid part ng windshield sa labas. ayaw nila pumayag, sabi ko para san pa ang waiver.
sabi ni senior installer, ang scanner daw ng nlex ay nasa taas ang scanners nila.
so with this info (na di pala talaga alam ng office peeps), pumayag narin sila na install sa gusto kong location; with waiver pero free yun current replacment (after arguing my case).

Nakikita ko sa post ng friend ko sa Wigo niya, nasa lower right ng windshield yung sticker katulad ng pic mo. Parang same lang ata sticker ng RFID either sa windshield or headlight pag sa EasyTrip.

Sa AutoSweep magkaiba kase ng type.

sa saturday ko pa malalaman kung OK sya bro ^_^
yung 2nd pic yung 1st installation na di gumana. btw nag test kami ni senior installer, pinakita nya yun old location dahil daw sa tint mahina yung pickup. nagtaka din sya kung bakit daw dun nilagay nung una nag install eh obvious naman daw na mahina pickup (slow beep instead of fast beeping). though ayaw niya i guarantee kung gagana yung current location dahil mataas daw for a sedan), pinakita nya yung pic nung isang truck na nilagyan nya na mataas pa sa akin.

parang dito nakalagay yun sa truck ..


pati meron sila sinasabi na di daw sila pwede maglagay sa right or mid part ng windshield dahil sa slex lang daw yun. bawal daw sa kanila maglagay sa middle part ng windshield, sabi ko bakit nung una pwede naman with waiver. inabot ako 20 minutes kaka explain kung bakit ayaw ko sa headlight. pinakita ko pa mga pics nun bangga and mods ko sa headlight at lagi ito nagagalaw.

Apparently kahit may butas ang k28 tint, minsan may issue pa din sa reader ng slex. Suggestion ng installer is lakihan ang butas ng tint a few more mm around the autosweep sticker.

For NLEX naman, di nila maintegrate yung autosweep ko since windshield mount and k28 all over. Nababasa daw sa handheld nila pero from experience daw nila, hindi nababasa in some nlex exits kapag vkool tint ang nakalagay, regardless kung may may butas and tint. No choice, headlights ang nilagyan.

According to the easytrip installer, mas mahina daw talaga ang reader ng easytrip, di tulad ng autosweep

Yan din sabi sakin, mas malakas daw readers ng AutoSweep..

And yung butas sa windshield dapat kasing laki daw nung card eh.
