mas madami advantages of having a pro license. madali lang naman magchange from non-pro to pro. para ka lang din nagrenew. just in case may exam, i'm sure you'll pass it with flying colors., ikaw pa..![]()
pro license holder here.. for the advantages, I believe it was mentioned already.. sinama ko na din dun yung restrictions for the bigger rigs.
what's funny is that when I got my license some time back, I opted na pro kaagad. from student to pro... got the restrictions opened up a few years later..
Of course depending on your restriction kung anong klaseng vehicle ang gagamitin mo. As what was mentioned earlier, if you drive to earn a living, you need a Pro license but if not, Non-Pro.
Yes you can drive any PRIVATE VEHICLE with your Non-Pro license, including company owned cars, your friend's/relative's, and your parents cars too basta pasok sa restriction, ok na yun.non-pro cheaper, 3 years, but di ka pwede magdrive ng PUVs or private cars na di sayo...
Fafa Boybi, may exam na. To make sure, I checked their website. Eto yung mga procedures:
1. Proceed to the Evaluator to have your documents checked for completeness and authenticity, and secure a Driver's License Application Form. (This form is available for download here. You can accomplish this form prior to transacting your business at the LTO.).
2. Proceed to the Phototaking/Signature Area when your name is called to have your picture and signature taken.
3. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called to pay the application fee.
4. Proceed to the Examination Room for the lecture and written exam.
5. After passing the written examination, wait for your name to be called for th practical exam.
6. After passing the practical examination, proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for payment of the necessary fees.
7. Proceed to the AMPI Counter when your name is called to have your signature and picture taken.
8. Claim the temporary driver's license (TDL) and the Official Receipt(OR) of payment.

Basic (driving) rules and regulation and a lot of common sense....

may restriction code ba ang non-pro? kasi deretso ako from student to pro license 1-2-3
ang written exam ng pro is 60 items, for non-pro its only 40 items... dati ganun eh, ewan ko lang kung same pa rin...

non-pro cheaper, 3 years, but di ka pwede magdrive ng PUVs or private cars na di sayo...
mga sir OT. mayroon ba talagang batas na pag non-pro ka bawal magdrive ng private car na di sayo? ive been driving for years, non-pro lisenya ko and nakikihiram ako ng kotse...pero di ko alam to..
