In my experience, quite a lot in the province. Mga hindi nakakakita ng poste, bata, o butas sa daan.

And after driving cars with 5% VLT, 20% VLT, 70% VLT, and no tint, malaking difference ang manyak tints sa gabi especially pag umuulan.

It's not like those with dark tints drive any slower even if their field of view is much less than those with lighter tints. Less field of view = less reaction time = more chances of screwing up.

But from experience, it's still better to have dark tints all around (say 5% windows and 20% windshield) rather than 5% windows and then just visor tint for the windshield. While this gives you good forward visibility, your peripheral vision is severely impaired since your eyes don't adjust quick enough to view the side mirror nor look out the side windows for obstacles. Eto yung pinaka-ayokong dinadrive na kotse.

Meron mga kotse makipot sa loob kagaya ng FD pag super dark tints bintana eh grabe tunnel vision na.

Tapos pag umulan mapapabagal pagdrive kasi delikado makasagi ng scooter.

edi kumpiskahin nila ung mga nag titinda ng dark tint.LED bar na nakaka silaw. kumpiskahin din lahat ng nagtitinda...para walang mabile.

parang drugs puro small time lang kaya nila.ung bigtime wala..

Good point re: eyes adjusting to light levels at night with all around tint. We don't have auto brightness like our phones. Eyes take a while to adjust.

Why don't they just limit the darkness of tint instead of trying to eliminate ot completely?

Tints help protect the leather seats, compensated with high intensity beam that blinds other on the road at night
