lets say the new Dalian trains really cannot be use. what are their next plan?
Politically they are filing a case to China?!?! baka pwede sabihin ni Mr. Pres. sa China's emperor, state minister or sa mga bff niya sa china about this para matulungan siya, tutal binigay naman na niya yun west phil sea. kita mo sa japan isang sabi lang anjan na agad sumitomo.
may bagong order ba sila na trains? or they just keep on whining and reviving the dead trains?

mukhang pambato nila un subway nila sa edsa, but c'mon ilan taon pa magagawa yun. minimum 3 years siguro pag round the clock ang gawa. the people want a solution fast. and may infrastructure naman na, kelangan lang i-rehabilitate fully.

I remember during last week's congressional hearing on the mrt woes, the general manager of the mrt corp., gen. rodrigo garcia, said that there are 4 dalian trains currently in service. But rep panty alvarez went ballistic on hearing this and suddenly began questioning the competence of garcia. So what gives?

Don't contradict the Panty... este... party line.

If you contradict the propaganda... even if you're telling the truth... you're out.

Look at what's happened in the PDEA.

Pero that's in the morning.

Saw news re the dalian trains on gma7. Sen Poe said that wag na pilitin ang new trains kasi di talaga kakasya. We can return the trains daw and order new ones that will fit. Singapore was successful in returning trains to dalian before acdg to the senator.
Or test run lang?

i believe the old bagons can be fixed. all that is needed are the parts. and if the current guys are to be believed, the parts have already been ordered and are arriving "soon".
but there is no quick fix. we can't go to shoemart and order two dozen, to be delivered next week. it takes months to assemble CBU bagons.

    The overweight issue is BS.

Here's the real score about the Dalians (note: I personally know railway_engr).

The only incompatibility issue with the Dalian LRV's are the depot maintenance equipments such as car hoist BUT they can still lift it with lifting jacks (actually nag procure ang DOTr ng lifting jacks noong 2016 para sa Dalian at kasama ding inaalikabok sa depot).

Another solution to this problem is since MHI will soon replace and upgrade all depot maintenance equipment, why not replace those machines that can service both RT8D5M and 8MLB?

I personally watched the weight, brakes, stress, and ATP testing of the Dalian LRVs. All of it works fine and needed to continue para matapos na ang adjustments.

DOTr spend Php 52 million for the signaling upgrade, and another approx 400 million for the Dalian ATP and 45 million for the audit. Nagtatapon tayo ng pera? Yaman ahhh

we can wait for a while and see if the current administrators can deliver on their promises,
or we can say outright a big NO, after which we will do... what?
