March 29th, 2016 12:30 PM #43Para sa akin lang,walang kwentang memo ito dahil kahit stock bulb lang gagamitin nating lahat yong halogen bastat hindi nag low o ginagamit ng wasto ang ilaw ay talagang napakasilaw pa rin. Siguro para sa akin lang ang dapat huliin ay yong mga driver na pasaway yong hindi nag low ng ilaw kahit naglolow ka na.

huwag nyo na kasing ipagpilitan. madami na talaga ang galit sa led bars na yan. malamang yan may nakatagpo ng official ng lto yung may led bar, nasilaw yung official kaya yan bawal na. ang yayabang kasi ng may led bars eh, kahit sa city naka-on ang led bars. sa nlex, sctex at tplex meron din ganyan naka-on ang led bars. buti nga sa inyo mga hinayupak kayo.
at sa totoo naman talaga nuon pa man, i remember kahit na nung early 80's na si makoy na diktador pa ang president for life ng pilipinas, bawal ang off road lights sa lahat ng roads and hiways. pwede ka maglagay nyan pero may conditions. ang #1 na alam ko nuon eh pag nasa roads and hiways ka dapat yan may cover. kaya yung mga hella nuon na nakalagay sa bumper laging may cover na plastic or else makokotongan ka ng HPG at confiscated pa ang lights mo. #2 na alam ko ay yung fog lights dapat below the level of the head lights and position at buga. di ka pwede maglagay ng fog or flood lights sa roof. ang pwede lang ilagay sa roof ay spot lamps, pero dapat may cover pa din pag nasa roads and hiways.
sumunod kasi sa batas. ginagawa nyo maglulupasay kayo sa kakareklamo para kayong batang spoiled pag di nasunod ang gusto. nung maliit pa ako pag may batang ganyan nababali ang kawayan sa kakapalo sa mga pasaway na ganyan!

The memo not nonsense. You can do whatever you want with your car as long as it is within the bounds of the law. The only ones against the memo are those who have LED lights & bars installed already. Like what sir yebo said, that law has existed since the time of Marcos, but during that time, it was directed toward fog lights. They are enforcing it again since citizens are abusing the use of LED bars & such.

March 29th, 2016 06:23 PM #50law is obsolete, only sealed beam & low lux halogens available that time. with this memo, upgrades in lighting technology/system were included.
pero subjective yung silaw factor. ako nasisilaw sa white HL tapos sumasakit yung mata ko kapag yellow, kahit yung halogen pa (osram nb/fb/all weather, etc). i prefer yung stock color
saw this old baby Pajero abandoned at the casa ( probably couldn't afford to pay for the services),...
