It doesn't downshift? Even if you mash the accelerator?

pag hindi masyado uphill release ko muna yung gas tpos floor ko yung gas, umaarangkada nman uli. pero pag steep na masyado, slowly nawawalan na ng power kahit ulitin ko yung process ko sa una.

Bro pag pataas... why are you letting go of the accelerator. I drive mountain passes daily and I never let go of the accelerator. I press deeper to maintain 80 or 100. The car will drop a gear or 2 or 3 if it needs the torque.

nka floor na kasi ng todo yung gas sir kaso wala p din hatak...so i try to release and gas again....kaso ganun pa din....pero sa steep uphill to sir....pag hindi nman masyado steep uphill, nag low power pero eventually pag gas ko nag lo-low gear uli.

First thing i would do is check the ecu for codes. It's probably in a limp mode to protect the engine. Codes.. Then go from there..

For those Fort na about 1, 2 or 3 yrs/old units, can you check your shocks sa likod, napalitan man ng warranty period or hindi pa. Yun sa akin kasi matatapos na yun warranty period, na replaced na rin yun shocks sa likod kaso pagsilip ko meron basa/leak ulit yun pinalit. As advised ng SA, moist lang daw yun although picture pa lang pinadala ko but planning to bring it back sa casa. May naka experience na ba ng napalitan yun shocks then nasira ulit yun pinalit? Thanks.

Kita ko nga eh... although yung nakikita ko lang are like ads by the actual sellers.

Kaso I haven't read any real review on whether or not it's worth replacing off the bat, or if the difference is decidedly minor, or the difference between the 4 way and the 10 way.

I do admit, ride quality is really subjective and yung 'tagtag' for other people are fine for others (esp if you're coming from a crosswind or something).

Which is why I'm hunting around for opinions din hehe

The k factor of the coilspring also affects the comfort. There are 2-3 that offer these. Not sure yet if there is a dual rate coil for the fort, I think there is one for the hilux.

So I am thinking to get myself a Toyota Fortuner 2014 or 2015 model.

Anyone who either owns or owned it can tell me about its avg maintenance cost, reliability, ride quality, fuel efficiency?

    I am looking for a 2.7L 4-cyl for max upto 60kms done.

What are your thoughts? Need it mainly for comfortable commute between home and work. UAQ to Dubai. And to it not give me headaches or break my bank.

I have been driving a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3L 2009 model for solid 10 years now and it's time to upgrade.

Also if someone could tell me the entire process of getting a used car? What are the paper work involved? Whom will I be going to and for what? What is the cost banking wise? If let's say the car set me back 60K AED and I gave 5K as down-payment (can I even do that?) how much will the bank charge as interest suppose its for 60 months? I am with emirates nbd. And I technically don't know **** about buying a car here is because 10 years back my dad got me that 1.3L Lancer and I wasn't involved in the process.

Fuel consumption is like a v6. This gas version is the indestructible version of the hilux.
