Is it good to buy this December or antayin ko na lumabas Fort 2019 para mas bago modelo?
How much ba discount ng Fortuner this Dec?
    TIA.
    i agree with yaps.
    bumili ka na.
consider: baka mas mataas ang presyo ng bagong model. baka hindi mo ma-gustuhan ang bagong model. baka halos pareho lang sa lumang model ang new model.

in my opinion, real discounts are few and far in between. some so-called discounts are actually just re-positioning of the moneys in the payment schedules.

Plan to change my tires from 265/70/R16 to 285/75/r16 do you think the bigger tires will affect the power of the car ?.. [emoji848]

If bigger = heavier, then acceleration will be slower and braking will be farther due to the additional unsprung mass. By how much depends on the weight added. Kung di naman rezing rezing you will probably not notice it.

with the wider tire, grip will improve dramatically. braking distance will shorten.

acceration willl suffer thata true.. the 14second fort will probably be in the 15s...

If you don't mind. . . What fort model are you using? If it's the 2016 up model where's the eco/normal/power button at?
    Thanks!

Was asking because of the underpowered thing. Thanks!

We own 2 variant of fortuner 2.7 vvti and 2015 2.5 Vnt, sorry, what i mean if you compared to the other Suv hindi ganun yung power niya, our 3.2 montero equipped 285/55/r20 walang nag bago sa Performance pero kung yung fortuner naka equipped ng Rim 20 you feel the difference. That's why I asking if i change bigger tires will affect a lot in terms of performance

Good evening po sa inyong lahat, bago lang ako sa forum na ito and I hope you can help me with my problem.

Just recently, I have my car (fortuner 2015) checked sa casa and the mechanic recommended to replace the turbo.
The price that they quote to me was Php 126K, for me that is a big amount and for now I cannot afford it,

My car is still running, but I want to fix it the soonest as I believe the problem is serious.

need some suggestions on what to do as I'm willing to have it fix if I can have it done with a lower amount.

What are the negative effect if I will just let the problem and continue using the car?

Please help me, I'm just a newbie with it comes to this problem, just driving one year pa.

Get 2nd or 3rd opinion. What symptoms are you getting?

Casa dont diagnose. They replace whatever the heck they feel like charging unsuspecting customers for a quick buck

    are there symptoms?
what does the howner's manual say about it, po?
is it possible, they recommend replacement, because it came with the vehicle from the factory 4 years ago and nothing else?

According to them there is a major leak in the turbo, sound is not normal anymore.
Sorry, I don't recall all they said, I don't actually talk to the mechanic, they just forward their findings to their staff and the staff provide me the findings.

I just want to know if ever the findings is true, is it really that expensive, 120K+?

the symptoms I know is that the engine sound is not normal but the car is still performing well.
Do they recommend for replacement although it's still possible to have it repaired at a minimal cost?

What will I do next, will I go to other mechanic to check it again?

Where is the leak coming from? Air leak or oil leak? Possible hose problem or fittings..

Btw there are brand new turbo for sale available for around 50k. You need to check if the turbo still achieves its required boost!

it is hard for me to recommend anything, because the information you volunteer, is, pardon my english, "extremely minimal".
perhaps if we can get more information...
or you can bring it to another mekaniko, and see what this second person says.

Question lang. I have to refill the pink coolant of our 2015 Fortuner as it is nearer to the E mark rather than the full. Aside from using genuine Toyota ano bang compatible na off the shelf (ace, handyman, truvalue) coolant na pwedeng gamitin? Thanks

Why try using other brands? Mura lang naman ang genuine toyota coolant and available in most auto supply store..
