guys tanong lang sa mga nagpakabit ng rear bumper guard with deflector. diba supposedly nakadikit lahat ng surface nung guard that comes in contact with the bumper itself right? yung sa may surface kasi ng rear sensor ko, hindi nakadikit yung bumper guard (deflector-to-deflector side) eh may nakakapa akong adhesive nun so diba dapat nakadikit yun? ang sabi kasi nung nagkabit sa casa is for drainage daw yun ng water kaya hindi naka lapat. eh sa paningin ko mukang palusot lang nila yun, how come may adhesive dun pero hindi ididikit? this was purchased and installed at Toyota Manila Bay.

Yung gamit ko na gas ay 91 octane ( cheapest unleaded ng shell ) is it bad ? Sa tingin ko isa itong reason kaya malakas mag vibrate yung tambucho ko

mga bossing san bang magaling na mekaniko para sa fort natin? yung general mekaniko... meron kasi ako noise na naririnig na parang tunog belt pero tumitigil paminsan minsan... i thought nung una aircon compressor pero pinatay ko AC meron pa ring tunog... tunog belt na dumudulas...

anong year ng Fort mo sir? most probably sa alternator bearing or pulley yan sir.

will post my FC on the following weeks as i am currently comparing Shell Fuel Save with Unioil. between 10-14 days yata yung akin before maconsume yung full tank.

2013 Toyota Fortuner 4x2 G Diesel
Tire Pressure at 34psi
Shell Fuel Save Diesel
Cavite-BGC vice versa via EDSA route
FC: 12.22km/L

my previous reading was at 9.3km/L. tipid talaga ng diesel. currently trying Unioil Euro IV diesel, tignan ko lang alin sa dalawa ang mas maganda.

Hi Guys

Its me again, my car is 2011 Toyota Fortuner, Gas Variant

When i drive my car at low speed and 1,500 rpm, i can hear and feel strange vibration coming from the back part underchassis that is audible inside the cabin.

I'm sure ndi ito suspension related kasi lumalabas lang yung sound only pag 1,500 rpm pero ndi parati.

I checked all the seats/tools at the back and secured naman lahat.

I went to Toyota Manila Bay ( where i got my unit from ) and left my fortuner there for few days, at first na confirm na meron narinig yung SA ko so sabi nya iwan ko unit.

After few days tumawag cya sabi nya wala naman daw problem exhaust ko so they did not fix anything, just checked lang. they even charged me around 300 php for that. :o . ang labo lang kasi under warranty pa car ko, kun may inayos sila ( let say palit exhaust system ), they wont charge me, pero pag wala inayos and check lang they will charge me 300 kasi diagnostic fee kunu. another stupid toyota policy which ndi na ako nakipag argue :-[

so after claiming my car, test drove it for few days, meron pa din yung sound so sa inis ko, ako na lang ang sumilip sa ilalim and i found this. A small lump ( encircled in red ) sa may exhaust ko pero wala naman butas. Is this normal ? sa mga kapwa fortuner owners na gas variant, can you check your exhaust if meron ba talaga small lump ? mag kneel down lang kayo sa right side ng car below the stepboard and you can see this one.

isip ko kasi baka design ng toyota ito or may sira ?

Sir, in terms of riding comfort afaik mas maganda na suspension ng fort ngayon unlike sa older models.

Kung wala na choice, i think you can brave through it. Fortuner naman yan, ive seen a hi ace cross a knee deep flood at avanza.

Maybe just put it in L and go SLOW. Or wag mo na ituloy if di mo naman kelangan dumaan
