Not sure but baka nga meron kasi Toyota is already giving a promo for the 2.7 VVti Fortuner, Php50,000 discount or 50% down and zero-interest for 72 months yata. Normally kasi pag may promo na, ay ibig sabihin may parating a new model or may parating na face-lifted (again) model.
sir pwede po pa post nung link kung saan niyo nakita.. salamat

I think the improved version of fort (after the 09 facelifted) which was released only last september 2009 is intended for at least until 2010. If ever a new fort (all new or further improved/facelifted) will come out siguro around 2011 na. just my two cents.

Very good point if I may add

Can the other reason be that mas mahina ang benta ng gas variant against, say, the 2.5 D4D?

x2. 2010 model is just the same with the '09 facelifted model. i don't think that they released a 2010 model tapos biglang maglalabas ng all new fort with the same year model. if ever mag release sila, mga late next year or early 2011 pa. question, may chocking/stalling problem pa rin ba yun 2.5d4d ng fort ngayon? TIA

agree, once nag promo na ng zero interest dalawa lang. mahina ang sale ng variant na yun and another the following year lalabas na bago. di naman imposible dahil 2005 pa Fort.

My bet, mid or 3rd quarter of 2010 may all-new na :2thumbsup:

    72 months = 6 years.

    No interest.

    No chance.

Basta buy lang ng buy. Afterall, it's a Fort.

If there were really an all new body coming out, then we should be seeing pics of test mules. But so far, none have surfaced, not even concept drawings.

Guys...ask ko lang sana about my 1-week old Fort V,(300kms/odo) is it normal to hear the engine's noise even with all window close? i heard kasi that Fortuner got the most silent diesel engine, pero sa ngayon parang mas maingay pa siya sa ex suv ko(pajero 2.8 FM).

im just quite worried about the "rrrrrr" sound of engine when stepping on the gas pedal until it reach 2nd or 3rd gear before it's gone on the speed of 40-60km/hr..,did you guys experienced these..? never ko pa hinataw Fort ko~70km/hr pa lng max speed so far... TIA

My D-4D used to sound really loud during the break-in period. Now that it has gone over 20,000 kilometers, it's almost as quiet as a gasoline engine provided that I got some music playing in the background. Give it around 5000 kilometers or so and then forget about all the rattles and enjoy the sound of the turbo whistle. The fortuner 3.0 got the best sounding turbo whistle amongst those I've heard.

Usually it's up to around 5,000 kilometers. I didn't really mind the clatter during the first few thousand km since I knew it was normal especially for a 3.0 diesel. Gradually after a the first couple of oil changes, it's more quiet than what I expected.

yes it should be no prob... a 3.0L fort running at 100km/hr the rpm wont past 2.5k its just around 2k so engine consider not stressed at this speed just avoid to hit your rpm beyond 2.5k at this time until you got your first change oil (1000 kms)...enjoy bro as we enjoy ours...

Guys how's the fuel consumption for the 3.0?

Have you noticed any increase in consumption over the years?

    Thanks
