Sir kung 0 to 60 acceleration ang hanap mo sa 2.7 gas kana.. ang 0 to 100Kph nia is 9.68 secs! FYI thats about more than a second faster than my old VTEC 3 civic..

Malakas talaga acceleration power ng 2.7 VVTi gas!

nakita ko nalang last friday na naka ilaw yung airbag light and yung engine light ko. i dont know why. hindi na saya natangal since den, i read our user manual naka lagay is see your service or see manufacturer, ano kaya ito. kasi baka may nakaka alam sa inyo dyan... hope you can help me with my problem. hindi kasi ako makatulog eh thanks in advance

Baka nagkaroon ng false trigger yung airbag nyo kung yan ay accidental kalikot or again loose wirings lang yun

I experience a similar problem imagine 1 month after getting your unite a 4x2 a/t gas engine light comes on.. we had it check at casa at nahirapan hanapin problem after an overnight stay at casa they found the problem...


we had a rat bite in the wirings that loosen the indicator to the engine pinakita sa akin sa ilalim na may rat bite nga ginawa k, bilis ako buy 5 box ng racumin at nilason ko lahat ng daga for 1 week kaya 2 weeks amoy patay bahay namin... hahaha

i can only answer this coz i have one. FC i havent really check kasi i seldom go out, but from cabangan zambales to mandaluyong back and forth took me half tank around 400km 2 adult full blast aircon...

and offroading? its a 4x2 i go fishing at zambales i got stuck in the sand so i had someone to push it to tougher grounds.. but for potholes and rough roads very comfortable and hardly noticeble except when your sitting at the back thats bumpy i think lalo na 3rd row kakahilo dun mas bumpy dun, i always sit infrnt kasi im driving it always..

my opinion if you want fast reaction speed gas is the way but kinda painful re gas..

diesel if your in to economy and not into fast response and smooth acceleration

4x4 if you really going offroad like if u got a farm thats unpaved and muddy if not you dont need it its still good to have one

Hi! The 3.0 diesel is very powerful. Kayang kaya sabayan mga stock Corolla or Civics. Consumption is ok sa highway, around 10-11km/liter. City around 6km/liter. As for the ride, its matagtag. I replace them with Oldman Emu spring and shocks and its still not comfortable on less than perfect roads. That's the only downside I can say about the Fortuner.

But its better to test drive it yourself before you decide.

Iam currently base in Qatar, I own a Toyota Fortuner 4.0 V6 model 2007. It is indeed a nice car (relatively) with the power, speed, cruise control etc.
My comments are: (remedies/suggestions most welcome)
1-When in rough roads the break pedal vibrates excessively, thereby emitting annoying sounds.
2-My car is only 7 months but in my driver's window, when also in rough roads a sound like a rubber rubbing together.

This flaws really annoyed me much.

This thread is for owners to be able to share observations on their units, as their usage progresses. It is hoped that other owners, as well as prospective owners, will be educated in the intricacies of using and maintaining their new baby.

peeps, i installed a tire pressure monitor system. it measures the psi and temp of our tires. tumataas pala up to 32psi and 37 deg C ang tires natin pag umaandar na tayo. mas mataas temp ng front tires probably because of the heat coming from the engine.
