I'm just curious, ilang percentage kaya ang contribution ng air-conditioning sa fuel consumption? Significant kaya ang effect sa FC if papatayin ang aircon?

has anyone tried SHELL V-Power Diesel?
what are the effects?
do you feel any increase power (speed-up) on your Innova?
hows the fuel consumption? km/L?

nag try ako mag load ng 500pesos..
around 2 pesos and diference niya sa regular diesel..
napansin ko wala naman pinagbago...
pero maibilis naubos unlike nung dati..
kaya balik ako uli sa regular diesel..

anyone tried replacing their spare tire with a donut tire instead? Will the donut be lighter compared to the spare alloy of e/g/v variants?

Re. v power diesel, I loaded up full tank recently with 1/4 regular diesel na natira (shell diesel ultra).

Engine noise reduced, less vibration, acceleration response seems to improve, really meant for CRDI engine, this diesel should have been available sooner.

According to write ups, full benefits will be felt after 3 full tanks, effects are much more dramatic to older/higher mileage diesel engines, since newer diesel engine have less sooth deposits...

BTW, based on my observation FC has not improved.

If you want to improve FC, dont forget to reset the ECU. simply detach both positive and negative battery terminals for around 5 to 10 minutes then re-attach then start and let it run idle for another 5 to 10 minutes for the ecu setting to take effect.

i remember a colleague of mine from my gps hobby who works at Shell Batangas telling us that a new product, which is Shell V Power Diesel will soon be coming out of the market... true enough, it did... but told us to be wary because it has the same components as that of the regular diesel... this simply means that this is just a marketing strategy... somewhat duping the consumers.

thanks for the reply regarding the feedback on the VPower Diesel
I just tried reloading up VPower Diesel, no noticeable effect on the speed and performance, what is noticeable, parang ang bilis yata naubos nang gas-diesel ko; probably not a better FC on my Innova....
just went back to my usual practice of Caltex Diesel with Techron

Panic button yan... useful yan pag nakapark ka sa sea of cars/innovas at di mo makita kung alin ang sa iyo pindutin mo lang yan button na yan for about 4 seconds tutunog ang innova mo.

isa pang use nyan halimbawa nakapark ka away from your innova, with in range at kita mo ang innova mo na parang may taong may masamang balak sa innova mo pindutin mo lang yan para mabulahaw yung tao....

Mga VVTi bros, may ginagamit ba kayong fuel additives? Just had my 1k km PMS last saturday, semi synthetic ang pinalagay naming engine oil since mostly highway driving (SLEX). Hopefully may improvements sa hatak sa mga susunod na buwan. FC update, total mileage is 1600+ km. Mixed 20% city 80% highway 10km/lit.
