Matanong ko lang din. Lalo sa mga umeedad na ang sasakyan 70-100k km sa odo?

Reasonable pa ba ang 11.98KM/L for a 2015 Innova 2.5 MT? Mixed city and highway.

Full tank method. I filled it up automatic. Then reset trip computer. I got 71.9km from my trip. Saktong 6L yung napakarga ko kanina.

Highway is 54.8km slex no traffic. And 17.1km city drive.

Our innova has 80k km odo. All stock except from the mags. 16's in 205/65/16 tires.

    ok na po yan.
the manufacturer's km/li figures are 10 for city and 13 for highway.
my 2005 D4d with 140k km on the odometer still gives me at least 12 km/li in combined city-highway driving (1/3 - 2/3, respectively).
but we should be mindful of the traffic situation.
yesteryear's 10 km/li city driving, might not be achievable in today's molasses traffic.

What could be the cause and is there any DIY fix for this?

My unit is 2015 Innova G diesel A/T, 90K odo.
I ignored the check engine light for months because there was no noticeable change in performance or any abnormal sound from the engine bay. My bad.

Bro, nasa probinsya pa yung unit, di pa napapacheck. Pero the last time I drove it, wala naman noticeable loss of power, no unusual engine sound, idling is normal. Check engine light turns on at about 20kph and the shifter is on D and 3. Pag yung shifter is at 1 and 2 kahit over 20kph takbo the check engine light won't turn on. I'lll update this thread once the unit gets checked.

Pareho tayo sir, ganito rin sa akin. OBD2 scanner says P00D8 Turbocharger/Supercharger Bypass Valve B Temperature Too High. Problem is wala ako makitang mechanic or auto repair shop (karamihan closed) dito sa Marikina kasi maraming sasakyang binaha or yung shop mismo binaha, kung meron man, mahaba ang pila at hindi siguradong maaacommodate ka.

Ah okay maybe you can have it check next month or a city next to marikina. I haven't check mine I just usually drive around 20kms back and forth during weekdays. I hope this is not something serious.

Yap, maybe in the next two weeks, I hope I can get this thing fixed because we're planning a long trip during the holidays. I'll be posting it here once the unit gets checked.

Okay I think no problem for short trips but for long trips yes better have it check. Just keep us posted and I might get it fix as well if this is something serious.

I suggest go to fb and look for ren matus (walking wrench). He is the go-to guy in the innova clubs. He lives in valenzuela

mga boss, have you found a way to keep the folded 3rd-row seats from sagging? natatanggal talaga yong velcro no matter how i set it up .

yours does not appear to be sagging...

you should see the former-gen innova's.
anyone less than five foot six does not have a ghost of a chance in un-latching it from behind...
    heh heh.

Gen 1 owner here and the Velcro straps have practically lost their stickiness. They should've used double D-ring and/or snap buttons instead as they're more reliable with frequent use.

On a related note, I just can't find the time to remove those 3rd-row seats. They've been used maybe three times since I got the vehicle five years ago. That will shave off some dead weight as well as increase cargo capacity.... a la station wagon of the 80's.

to those interested in removing their 3rd row seats,
it's a straightforward procedure, done in less than 15 minutes. the required bolts are easy to manage. i have done it, myself. but you have to return them bolts in place, because you can see the ground thru the bolt holes.
the hard part is getting off from the vehicle the detached seat assemblies. very bulky and heavy!
    hire someone if you wish.

I have once removed the passenger side 3rd-row seat when I made mods around the rear A/C (so it wouldn't suck in too much outside air). But since the vehicle was still relatively new, I just put the seat back.

Yeah, they're hefty. I imagine if they're removed, the vehicle would be lighter and less top-heavy.

Hehe. Same sa nagawa dito sa dog strap:
