hi. nakuha ko na kanina ang car documents from the bank for my 2nd hand innova. question po, the original OR and CR provided by the bank was dated 2013. however, the photocopy provided by the previous owner to me is the one dated with the original purchase date which was 2012. is this ok?

yung documents nga pala na pinrovide ni bank ay as follows:
1. orig OR dated 2013
2. orig CR dated 2013 (encumbered to bank)
3. promissory note with chattel mortgage
4. release of chattel mortgage

Also, ito ang advise ni bank:
1. Go to registry of deeds. not sure saang branch ito kasi hindi clear ang stamp.
a. is this a must?
b. anong disadvantage if hindi ko na ito icomply?
c. how much kaya ang estimate costs ng "government fees"?
2. Go to LTO. parang magiissue daw sila ng new CR without encumbrance.
a. pwede bang isabay ko na lang ito sa transfer of ownership?
b. since newly renewed lang din ang car sa LTO, plan ko is isabay na lang early next year ang transfer of ownership, registration renewal and yung sa New CR without encumbrance, is this ok?

Umilaw ng pirmi yung fuel guage warning ng G diesel ko...sabi sa marka sa visor pag ganun daw dalhin agad sa casa, ano yun bakit ganon?

Kapag steady yung ilaw ng indicator, it means nagbabara na fuel filter. you just need to replace the fuel filter element. Meron video sa youtube on how to open the filter housing, search mo nalang.

On how to reset the indicator light after replacing the filter element:

1. With your engine off, disconnect the 2 sensors sa fuel filter housing, one on top, one on the side. No need to disconnect the battery.
2. Turn your ignition key to "On" position so all of the gauge indicators light up.
3. Within 60 seconds, reconnect the 2 sensors you disconnected earlier.
4. Check the fuel indicator light, it should turn off.
5. Start your engine normally.

Good day mga ka tsikot (Innova), thanks sa mga advise nyo and finally decided at kalalabas lang nang Innova 2.5 E Diesel A/T namin and my family love it, ganda hatak, tahimik and FC is good 11-12 km/l using Unioil from Manila. Hingi sir nang advise, my son felt Unioil is okay and as advise by the casa, kaya lang wala dito sa Pampanga o Angeles City.. Is Shell V-Power + Nitro Diesel okay as 2nd option or any other suggestion. Thanks

As per experience, nothing wrong with it. Malakas parin hatak, and same FC. Kaso, manual yung amin. Hindi ako sure kung same lang ang FC ng A/T at M/T

dati petron user ako at unioil. ang ayaw ko sa petron, kung bihira highway driving, may time na matamlay, may time na responsive, kumbaga, hindi siya consistent unlike ng unioil.

pero nung sinubukan ko yung shell diesels (fuel save at nitro +), kahit mostly city driven lang, consistent yung responsiveness niya at fuel consumption (8 to 10 km/l city; 14 to 16 km/l highway - Paranaque to Sta Clara Batangas - 180kms balikan).

based on experience lang ito paps, baka sa iba, iba din performance pero kung ako tatanungin, ok na ok yung shell diesels.

sa mechanical diesel naman namin (hilux - 2L engine), kahit anong diesel bukod sa Caltex, ok na ok siya. hindi masyadong choosy

Mga sir tanong po ulit..just now napansin nang anak ko na may tubig na na patak sa may ilalim likod malapit sa tambutso..ano po kaya yon at saan galing. 3 araw palang po Innova namin 2.5E Dsl A/T. Thanks

Since dual AC ang innova yun tulo galing sa rear evaporator which is located exactly dun sa right(passenger) rear side.

1 month owner. Originally Shell fuelsave diesel ang gamit. ang tanong ko mga bossing, kung sakali lang magipit, ok lang ba diesel ng iba ang ikarga? Wala ba masama epek yun? TiA!

mga expert, question lang po re fuel filter warning indicator. The indicator remains lighted even after replacing the fuel filter with a new one.
My unit is 2.5 E manuel diesel with 36k km odo reading. The filter was replaced sa suking talyer. They tried resetting the indicator light by removing the negative terminal of the battery and truing the ignition to "on" for 10 sec pero may warning light pa din TIA

ok na guys
i read somewhere.
turn key to on.
remove the 2 connectors of the fuel filter.
after about 3 or 6 sec, re connect again.
then off the ignition. Start engine and problem solved

Tried to search in google, ECT seems to be "Electronically Controlled Transmission", but most search results mentioned ECT button, but our innovas does not have any ECT button.

ibig sabihin paps, ECU controlled ang shifting ng automatic transmission kapag sinabing ECT, compared sa mas conventional AT ng toyota na inaadjust yung shift point ng automatic transmission sa cable tension ng tranny, tulad ng sa mga corolla bigbody gli dati.

Good Evening mga ka tsikot..

We own a Toyota Innova E 2.5 Diesel Manual Transmission 2015. And 1st car namin po to. Pahingi namang ideas para sa accessories at mga dapat na maintenance ng car namin..

From Laguna kasi kami.. So san kami makakabili ng accessories na affordable ang presyo.. Presyong ginto kasi sa Toyota Calamba e.. Then wala pa kaming alarm ang singil sa amin e 6k for alarm (Toyota Calamba) meron dito sa amin sa 2.5k. Mas nauuna ba talagang mapaso ang warranty bago ang Electrical nito?

About naman po sa maintenance. Anong pang linis ang gamit nyo?

And kapag nagrereverse po ako para may naririnig akong nahugong (sound like turbo) kapag mabilis po yung reverse. Normal po ba yun?
