ok lang ba patakbo ka 3rd gear 100kph with 4000rpm?
Nakibaghabolan ako sa 3.0fortuner sobrang nahirapan ako pero kinaya parin ng innova natin.. naiwan ko siya., with 140kph...

Sakin di pa rin nasolve ung tunog sa baba ng manobela.. everytime my lubak..
pina ayos kona sa casa ung pedal na palitan na ng bossing ba yun??
but still now my tunog pa rin pero di na masyado.. anu kaya un?? nakakainis..!! pa check ko uli sa casa pah 20k pms ko...

Sir i think ok lang yan wag lang siguro palagi. tried it once sa stop light, may iniwanan akong van pagdating ng stop light tumabi sakin tapos sabay bomba nung nag green npa abot ko 2nd gear ng 60kph.hehe iwan siya. pero mafeel mo tlga na sisipol na tlga engine mo.

Last Monday on the parking lot, my Friends Innova G door's won't open via remote...even if the LED on the remote is "blinking" when you try to press it. Next, we went home and got the "spare" key thinking maybe the battery on the remote is "weak". When we returned and tried the spare key...it STILL... won't work? What he did was open the door directly using the key...then the alarm sounded...he immediately inserted the key in the ignition and started the car...the "sound" from the alarm stopped. The car is just 14 months old...

Toyota recalls over 65,000 units of Innova and Fortuner--in Vietnam

Toyota Vietnam is recalling 65,703 units of its locally-assembled Fortuner sport-utility vehicle and Innova Asian-utility vehicle nearly a month after the Japanese carmaker made a similar announcement involving a much lower number of vehicles.
In March, Toyota announced a recall for only 8,830 units of the said models.
Toyota engineer Le Van Tach, however, disputed Toyota's initial report and estimated that as much as 60,000 units could be affected, ThanNienNews.com reported. The latest announcement, which involves more than 65,000 vehicles, was made on April 15.
According to Toyota, Vietnam-made Fortuner and Innova units were found to have either over-responsive brake systems, or improperly-mounted camber bolts and seats.
ThanNienNews.com added that, though the recall is not the first in Vietnam, it is the largest ever made based on the official records of the Vietnam Register Agency, the government body responsible for checking vehicle quality. The agency is reportedly scheduled to inspect Toyota Vietnam's production facilities to find what had caused the flaws.
Toyota Motor Philippines has yet to reply to TopGear.com.ph's query on how the recall would affect Thai-built Fortuners sold here. The Toyota Innova is assembled in the Philippines.

The move came two weeks after the company first admitted to three flaws in Innova models. It said some cars released to the market had over-responsive braking systems while other had improperly mounted camber bolts and seats

There were only 2 mentioned flaws. What's the 3rd one?
- over responsive braking - wheel lock, nonsense abs?
- improperly mounted camber bolts and seats? - tire wear, handling, kabig?

Napansin ko lang na parang mataas ang RPM ng Innova namin while driving. Parang naiingayan tuloy ako, hehehe.
I dont know if this is psychological pero parang mas umingay cya compared before.
Normal lang ba na umabot ng 2K ang RPM kahit nasa 40kph plang, being light footed sa gas peal?

sana nga drain out lang ang battery pag ganun, hindi mag li-leak ang battery.

may na experience ako eh. pinatay ko engine ko kasi nakarating na ako dito sa bahay, nag unlock lahat ng doors kasi pinatay ko engine diba. eh naglagay ako sunshade sa windshield ko, nag auto lock yung doors, hinayaan ko lang kahit nasa loob pa ako. pag bukas ko nag alarm innova ko. ganun ba talaga? hehe. ngayon ko lang na experience yun kasi. me naka experience na po ba nito?

On my Fortuner '06, it is normal for the door locks (provided that they are lock) to unlock immediately after shutting off the engine by turning the key to "off"

What it does not do is to automatically lock the doors and activate the alarm after what happens as stated in the first paragraph.

The only instance that the alarm system will reactivate without intervention is when you disarm the TVSS but no doors were opened for at least 1 min. from disarm. In this instance, the TVSS/alarm will reactivate on its own without any intervention from the you and the key fob.

it might have something to do with radio frequency interference in the area... it happens to me sometimes, especially when i'm in the Ortigas area near Big Berts's.

how do you mount the stepboards? binubutasan ba to? or merong nang abang na mga mounting?

AFAIK, may mounting na kasama ito at iniscrew na lang sa may chassis.

Never ko pa naranasan ang 2k rpm sa 40kph unless binigla ko then di ko binitawan ang gas pedal tapos inclined road pa . try releasing the gas pedal then press it gently again mapapansin mo bababa ang rpm to 1.25k-1.5k rpm depende sa road inclined.

Aabot din ng 2k rpm if you're using 3 or 2 dapat always D gamit mo sa AT.

Hirap kontrolin ang RPM ng AT kaya mas malakas kumain ng gas .
Pansin ko pag 2k rpm sa AT mga 1.5k rpm lang sa MT sa tamang gear.

pero mas comfortable ako sa pag drive ng AT. Depende sa kasanayan. Nasanay lang ako sa AT since my Innova is AT.

Pls let me know kung may adjustment ang Casa about rpm sa AT.

woah. nangyari na din sakin yan at sa friend ko. may interference lang siguro. nothing to worry about it. kasi kung sa battery ng key yun, yung isang master key wont work.

i think na accidentally press mo ang lock sa key kaya nag activate yung security.

old na ata Innova namin kaya nag kakaganito na dapat malapitan

nag auto lock po sya nung pinatay ko engine eh, i think mga 10 seconds after i patayin ko engine, nag auto lock sya. kasi naglagay pa q sunshade, mainet kasi nun eh. tapos ayun nag auto lock na sya. di ba nag aauto lock pag pinatay engine? di ko kasi alam kung napindot ko ba o hindi eh. binulsa ko na kasi key ko nun.

ah baka nga po sa katagalan ng innova nyo, sa sensor na po siguro yun ng body sa key.

my aircon keeps failing during hot condition but it works in the morning and at night and its very cold.. i dont think this is a freon problem....
need help/advice...tnx

sa insurance ba, pag sinabing AOG, baha at other natural disasters lang ba ang nirerecognized nila? kasi ba nman pag minalas malas ka, 4-days old pa lang yung unit ko, nabagsakan ng mangga sa roof tapos dun pa sa parang pinakaforehead ng sasakyan...ang resulta, nagkaron tuloy ng dimple. buti na lang sakto sa gitna at di masyadong halata...malas pa,di ko nakuha yung mangga na bumagsak kasi nasa highway ako...kung ieport ko kasi sa insurance, baka tawanan lang ako at sabihin e covered ng participation ko...ano ba mga bosing mainam gawin, iverify ko muna sa SA ko sa casa? - thanks in advance...

+1 it would not take an hour to have that restored in PDR.

Huwag lang yung mga kanto ng roof ang magkadimple dahil pag kanto ng roof naka double wall yung di na kaya ng PDR, same thing happened to my roof nabagsakan ng abokado sa corner ng roof ayun malaking dimple at inayawan ng PDR, pinakita sa akin na naka double wall kaya di kayang sungkitin. Pinapinturahan ko na lang uli yung roof sabay sa side panel kaya nakamura ako.

you need to bring your innova to aircon tech to clean the evaporator. aircon dryer and expansion valve will be replace.
there are times compressor will be replace, hopefully not. I myself experience this on my old L300, during daytime( hot condition) it's not sufficient but during early morning and night its too cold. The compressor cannot pump enough freon, i decided to replaced the compressor. problem solved.
Most of the times cleaning the evaporator is all you need to do.

Possible baka medyo madumi na ang radiator mo which di na madaanan ng hangin ng fan mo ang condenser ng aircon.

During hot climate mainit na hangin ang makukuha ng condenser ng aircon during traffic. Pero walang problema pag sa early morning or sa gabi kasi malamig na ang hangin dadaan sa condenser ng aircon.



Kaya some of the car are using auxiliary fan for the condenser para lalamig ang condenser during hot climate.


Wala pa akong nakitang naka aux fan na Innova pero avanza meron na akong nakita.

Try mo patakbohin ng at least 50kph for 2-3 mins without stopping. Pansinin mo lalamig ang aircon mo kahit super init pa ng panahon.

Possible compressor pero i'm guessing not.

hello guys...im a newbie here sa forums niyo..at newbie din sa mga kotse..it's my first time owning my own car..meron po akong toyota innova J. so para po sa baguhang tulad ko..ano po ba maeexpect ko sa kotseng ito? hindi din po ako nakakapag drive ng kahit anong kotse...talagang eto ang first car ko..hope you can give me tips...thanks and God bless!

I am new also. I have not yet bought the Innova -- but I am thinking of the E or G Diesel A/T. I live in Makati -- which Toyota dealer/sales rep gives the best discount for CA$H? In previous posts (2010) I saw some big discounts. Can I still get them? Does Toyota Phil allow a test drive? I have tested the KIA Carens and Isuzu XUV Diesel A/Ts already. Thanks.
