Its with the gearing set up of the tranny. I notice a big gap from 3rd going to 4th for the automatic tranny of innova. Hirap tumaas yun speed on the 4th gear kung hindi nakapagshift at higher RPM from 3rd going to 4th gear.

If my information is correct, for M/T Innova:
4th gear ratio= 1:1
5th gear ratio= 0.851:1

For A/T Innova, 4th gear ratio= 0.73:1

since 0.73 is less than 0.851 therefore, for the same ground speed the A/T at its 4th gear will have lower RPM than the M/T at 5th gear.

Yep, its with the gearing set up. If my memory serves me right, at 100kph the AT innova diesel's rpm is at 2,000. No sure though, give me few days to confirm this. We hardly reached 100kph with the traffic situation here in manila

Btw, nagloloko na ang stock battery (Oriental Turbo 55D32L) namin puede kaya palitan to ng Motolite Gold hindi galing sa casa? considering na less than 3 years pa tsikot namin, hindi kaya magkakaroon ng issue sa warranty? Sira na raw ung mga plate at yong level eh nasa gitna na wala sa tamang level. TIA.

I assume that the stock battery is maintenance-free, and that you are faithful to the PMS, bro.

In which case, you can claim warranty for the battery. This is the general case, so check your contract.

I think, battery is an electrical part. Therefore, ma-void yung warranty mo. It happened this to me before when I replaced my battery outside sa casa with Motolite Gold at wala namang naging problem. Voided nga lang warranty ko pero ok lang. Ingat na lang sa driving at follow regular maintenance.

Battery warranty is only for 1 year up to 1 and 1/2 years.

Battery warranty is a separate certificate you'll get when you receive your car. Usually, 1 to 1/2 years lang and usually it comes with Battery manufacturer's certificate.

Tried running the innova up to 100 kph, rpm is at 2100

I do not understand the issue of rpm relative to speed for Innova.

For safety reasons, drivers must not take pictures while driving especially at high speeds.

I hope that those innova owners na nagpapatakbo ng above 180 kph ay nakapagpalit na ng stock tire, kasi stock tire (Yokohama) has a maximum speed of 180 kph, good only for 10 minutes.

of course hindi naman ako mag cruise ng ganyan speed di ba? hehe gusto ko lang malaman top speed ng Innova. My tires are same spec as stock. same speed limit pero Accelere brand.

Requesting for help on some issues with our Innova:

1. Squealing front brakes - the front brakes squeal during slow braking from a slow speed, on,humps, stoplights, etc. i'vemhad it checked and the pads are still thick and the wear indicator looks like it's not hitting the discs. The mechanic sanded the pads a little and rinsed with water. The noise was gone but came back slowly after a few kilometers. I'm going to replace the pads but if you have any other ideas it would be appreciated.

2. Noise in the rear door - when the rear door is opened it sounds like a cow is " mooing". I think it comes from one of the "hydraulic tubes" and I'm thinking of wiping it with a little oil. Any other ideas short of replacing the tube?

replace the pads muna siguro. the rotor might need re-facing. how old ba innova mo. normally sa umaga ko lang naririnig yung squealing pero nawawala after a few kilometers.

sa rear door, i think yung hinge yung maingay dyan. try mo mo lagyan ng wd40.

Sa Transmission factory kasi ng Mitsubishi dati nag work ang tatay ko at sabi nya ang isang no-no sa kanila ay ang vibrating transmission shifter. Dapat daw ay di ito kumakalog. Sa mga kotse ok naman pero sa innova ang lakas lalo na sa lubak.

ung 3 week old innova VVTi namin from day 1 ganun na siya talaga. visible ang vibration sa shifter. I think its normal since mahaba at mabigat ung shifter ng innova.
