mga paps, share ko lang na experience ko sa unit ko last sunday. i own a 2011 innova G D4D. nagsimba kasi kami, so i parked. tagal lang naka idle engine ko ng hindi pa ako nakaka park kasi ang tagal lumabas ng mga sasakyan nung unang mass kasi palm sumday diba, masikip. kaya medyo matagal akong nag antay. nung naka park na ako in-off ko na engine tapos bumaba na ko sa sasakyan. nung i llock ko na, i pressed the lock button in the remote of the key, hindi nag lock. pinindot ko din yung unlock button, di din nag function kasi hindi umilaw. nung pinindot ko ulit yung lock, i pressed the lock button 2 seconds then it locked same thing with the unlock button. di sya ng lock ng isang pindutan lang, i hhold pa yung button. tapos i started ulit the engine, nilipat ko parada ko. tapos nung i llock ko na doors ulit, pinindot ko lock sa remote ng key, ok na ulit. isang pindutan lang nag lock at unlock na sya, i tried lock and unlock 3x, ok naman na siya ulit.

may naka experience na ba sa inyo ng ganun mga paps? anu kaya naging problema sa key at hindi nag function agad to lock and unlock? imposible namang battery kasi 5 months pa lang unit ko eh.

Yesterday my 2010 innova diesel had its 15,000 km maintenance check-up. When I picked it up the SA just handed me the billing statement and did not mention any problems or findings. Just the usual oil change, tune up and inspection he said. Since I was in a hurry I did not go over the details of the billing.

When I finally had the chance to read the details of the billing at home I noticed there was an entry in the bottom which reads " Recommendations: FRT RH Shock Absorber leak".

Anything to worry about this finding? Tried calling the SA but he is unavailable.

Covered ba ng warranty ang shock absorbers?

Has anybody encountered this same problem with their unit?

common issue na ng Innova yang leaking shock absorbers. should be covered ng warranty.

I experienced it several times already. It may be caused by magnetic fields in the area that distorts the remote control lock mechanism. Sa akin minsan na-i-lock ko using the remote control then pag unlock ayaw gumana kaya sinusian ko ayun tumunog ang alarm at hindi ko mapatay ang alarm using the remote control. Inantay ko na lang matapos ang sound then ni-lock ko uli at unlock ng remote at gumana na uli.

baka nga ganun sir. kasi nakalagay sa owners manual pag may malapit daw na radio transmitter, pwede din ma interfere yung sa sensor ng key. ayun ata yun. hehe. yung nangyari sayo sir nangyari sa tropa ko, pinindot nya yung alarm kasi ayaw mag lock at unlock eh, tin-ry nya pindutin yung alarm, nag alarm naman innova nea kasi akala nya ayaw gumana ng key. pag pindot nya ng alarm, gumana at hindi din nya mapatay, inantay na lang din nya ma wala yung sounds.

pero ngayon ok na yung key mo sir? G din ba sayo? di naman kasi siguro battery problem ng key natin diba? gaano po kaya katagal life span ng batery ng keyless entry remote sir?

My Innova is now reaching it's 6th year and I'm thinking of replacing my old original front windshield wipers which are about to reach it's most useful function. Im getting old so does my eyesight...he he he. Nobody's wants to drive with streaking windshield and blurry vision, right? so, what brand do you recommend for the wiper replacements? your inputs are highly appreciated. thanks. Happy/safe driving guys...cheers.

we usually call it as frequency interference... kaya minsan yun remote natin ndi gumagana. its a normal thing kaya dont worry.

Yung innova namin sir dapat sobrang lapit saka gumagana ang remote. Nahihiya ako minsan na dapat tabi ko pa ang innova saka ma control minsan nga dapat sa side pa ako ng innova saka ko ma remote pag nasa likod ako dapat itaas ko pa ang key. Bago naman po ang battery. Recommend ng Casa papalitan ng bagong key worth 10k+ . They didn't even check the sensor di ko rin alam saan located.

Ok lang sir yan, ganyan din malimit maexperience ko kapag more than 100 kph na takbo. Nagaactivate lang ang mga seatbelt tensioner nyan at ung abs. Kaya yung naaamoy mo, fumes or gas pero di naman delikado na maamoy yan, inixplain yan sir sa manual.

I dont think so sir, activate lang pretensioners pag me collision and dun lang mag emit ng burning smell. ABS naman pulsing action on your pedal on hard braking kung umamoy man brake pads sa pag stop mo yun. dun sa nag post ng question ano ba amoy? kung parang burnt rubber your belts might be too tight kaya me ganun amoy. saka naka recirculate ba vents mo o open? kung parang parang kuryente might be brake pads maaring needs cleaning or adjusting.

do you know how to safely remove the rear view mirror of an innova? is there a clip there somewhere?

pwede lang pull out mirror pero maiwan ang base. pa install ba kayo ng tint kaya ka nag ask?

maari nga RF interferrence esp kung me cell site malapit dun. kung mag persist ang problem pa adjust mo alarm module and antenna para mas me clear path ang signal bet remote and sensor. ilipat lang mas mataas na position, idealy near sa windsheild. madals kasi tamad mag install so mabaa masyado kabit.

sir bosch any wiper will do basta same size as old. sir 6 yrs is too long for a tropical country like ours. 2 yrs po malutong na yan. i personally like those made by bosch saka yung NYK/ NYG ba yun?

- pulls big end of rod out of shape
- wipes out bearings
- potential for over revving and "bouncing " the valvetrain

never uses the gearbox/ engine to slow the car, Brake pads are alot cheaper than an over revved engine/valvetrain.......

Agree with this ^^. You may use engine braking when going down long and steep roads but make sure to match your engine revs to the speed (blip the throttle while downshifting) to avoid undue stress on your drive train. It's sure nice to hear the engine roar when you downshift ala schumacher but remember that his car has a computer to do the blipping and that his engine gets rebuilt after each race (or each season?)

May ganun po talaga... minsan kasi sa freq yun. baka yun freq ng remote mo eh malapit sa mga freq ng gamit ng mga site, pwede din ganun. yun civic ko dati ganyan din lalo na pag nasa makatimed ako halos idikit ko na sa pinto yun remote ng alarm ko... hahaha!

Bosch is the stock wiper for Innova, you can get it from most Auto Supply stores. If you look closely on the wiper it has a stamp "NWB" on the wiper body.

6 thou na odo mo? tapos na brake in nun. try mo check belts dapat pwede sya gumalaw by 1/2 to 3/4 inch. pag walang galaw too tight sya. check mo din sa may front fender well, baka may loose panel na pwede mag rub sa tires pag high speed.

mga bos, ano ba maganda brand ng alarm with central locking na compatible para sa mga innova?and also how much kaya usually ang prices, sa net kasi,prices ranges from 1300 and above kaso baka di ito compatible sa innova and probably wala pa dito ang labor cost...thanks guys..hope to hear from you soon..

sir subukan mo ang Code Alarm, parehong brand po pero ibang model eto sa naka install sa mga Mitsubishi Pajero Field Master, so far wala pa naman palya ang pagkaka install sa innova j unit, installed by toyota dagupan for warranty reasons, 1yr pa lang nung unit nung pinalagyan ko, now on its 3rd yr. still the sensor activates in 12meter radius, reprogrammable frequency, medyo may kamahalan nga lang pero sulit po, nakalimutan ko lang po kung ano yung exact model # nya.
