    Question po mga sir!

    Thanks in advance!

They will work, the issue is with the double contact socket of toyota na OEM.

The number one issue with led tail lights is moisture since exposed ang solder pads ng led tail lights pwede ito mag corrode then cause some problems later.

Pero if you want to really use led tail lights, the number one issue is the socket of Toyota, medyo iba ang orientation nya kasi ang typical bulb we use for toyota ay hindi yung elongated contacts, this is for the 1157 or the double contact bulbs sa brakes.

The other issue is yung hyperblinking when using the turn/signal lights. Kapag hazard lang, ok ang blinking nya, pero kapag na turn light ka, mag hyper blinking ka due to the low input impedance of the led lamps. Ang solution is to parallel a high wattage low resistance resistor to you turn lights to make it appear sa thermal relays na low input impedance ang load nya just like the ordinary bulbs. The solution is to replace your oem thermal relay with electronic relay, pero I am not sure if yung electronic relay na gamit sa signal light will hyper blink if nag open ang load.

i don't want the soot to re-enter my engine again and clog my injectors in the long run. lalo na knowing that the EGR only operates at constant speed and close all the time.

Naka VNT na ba yung innova mo, in other forum turbo VGT or VNT will lit your CEL check engine light.
Mine was block i think more than a year.
Been planning this kaya lang di pa nagagawa, btw my plates are stainless alloy I think scrap from aircraft materials or supply.

so i suppose it's not a very good idea to tinker with it..
mine has been in service since 2005.. and after almost 95K, i see no manifestation of dirty injector syndrome.. i suppose it takes quite some more time for the dirt to build up...
does the TS have first-hand information on this, or is he just echoing someone else's story?
anyone out there who can help us understand more...?

There's a thread here about EGR blanking. A lot of topics online regarding the benefits of EGR blanking.

Pag diy mas maganda bring the gasket to machine shop, sila na bahala gumawa, >5mm metal pag egr pipe delete.

Egr was there to reduce NOx in compliance with environmental restrictions by reducing the combustion temp doing it by recirculating exhaust gas (cheap source of inert gas) into combustion chamber. But by doing this, the soot and sulfur(in acid form) is also introduce in the intake and not good for internals. This what I had read about soot and egr, iirc.

Our Innova is gasoline; But one of our rides is diesel. And so, I had it EGR-blocked. Improvement in performance as 100% of the exhaust is directly fed to the turbine of the turbo... Plus, the engine chamber is "cleaner". But (max at idle), NOX is there....
