sound is connected to horn. shock sensor is pretty hard to trigger and almost non existent. although door locks have speed sensing capability.

sir gusto ko kc may sound alarm ung innova if in case bubuksan ko or isasara ung doors via remote,. can toyota do it ? i mean i see kc sa ibang innova na may sound ung pag lock and pag open ng door nla, beep sound (horn), i thought its included in the stock alarm,.

It can program to emit sound using the stock alarm horn, some of the oldest Innova in our company has that. You can ask the dealer's Parts and Accessories Section if their in-house installer can assist you. Mine is 2006 but the horn sound for lock/unlock is already disabled, I think they remove this feature since most owners does not want it.

Ha ganun ba! E yung sa akin galing sa TYT Cubao.....most probably the same din yun. Di ko pa nacheck. Ang mahal pa naman tapos meron din pala sa banawe at lower price. Sayang.

3 June, 2010 - Today, Toyota Kirloskar Motors has launched the special edition of its most popular model Toyota Innova. TKM celebrates the five successful years of Toyota Innova in the Indian auto market and they have launched the special edition of the vehicle that will be priced at Rs 8.87 lacs (as ex-showroom) prices in New Delhi. The new special edition will be loaded with the newly designed bumper and front grille that makes its front more aggressive, the rear door varnish makes it more stylish as compared to the previous one. This limited edition will be available with one color, premium super white. It will be the limited edition of Toyota Innova and the company will produce only 700 units of Innova. These special edition of Toyota Innova will be available in the Indian auto market from June' 2010 to September' 2010.

Has anyone experienced first time opening of the a/c and it smells like vinegar? What can you do to eliminate this. Of all the vehicles I've owned and I can guarantee that are really clean, this is the first time that it happened.

happened to me before also. sprayed lysol sa may blower ng aircon.try to clean the cabin filter. do not use air fresheners as well. and make sure to turn both the aircon ( front and rear ).

paano po ba ang scenario? naka aircon kayo tapos going park ride nyo na naka bilad sa araw? ganun po ba? if that's the case dapat siguro * park mode open nyo ng konti 'yung bintana nyo (just in case you have rain gutter) para po makalabas 'yung lamig ng aircon after driving. minsan po kasi masama ang combination ng lamig ng aircon na nakulob sa ride tapos mabibilad sa araw... in my case since day one never akong gumamit ng car freshener. ionizer lang po ang gamit ko from concorde (elevo brand). turning 3 years na po ride ko this coming december wala pong foul odor experienced from Aircon. hoping this one helps. happy weekend & God Bless!

P.S.
also please refrain from applying armor all inside your ride especially on your dashboard 'coz this might be also the culprit of that foul odor upon turning on your ac.

mga tol share ko lang.. nagpa one-time paint protection ako sa bigberts sucat last saturday naavail ko ang 10% discount using our innova club sticker. malaking bagay na din ang discount pang dagdag sa gas.

clean cabin filter - not done yet (innova is 4 months old, but worth checking), any experience with torque washable filters?
air freshners - never did use since day 1, just the cheapo dehumidifier sold at jap stores or blade. i always open up 4 large containers at the same time

parking - i always park on the basement, so not directly under the sun
ionizer - i hate the buzzing sound, but worth trying as well
armor all - i don't use this

question lang, ilang remote control keys and spare key(no remote) ang mga innova nyo? i only have 1 with remote and 1 spare key. parang nagulat ako na ganun lang.

ako buti di ko pa na experience ang mag amoy maasim ang AC ko. walang amoy palagi, air freshener na california scents lang palagi maamoy sa loob ng unit ko. madalas din ako mapapark sa mainit na lugar under the sun after mapatay ang AC ko. wala naman effect hehe.

sir spyghost, ganito gawin mo. try lang. bago mo gamitin innova mo. i idle mo muna engine mga 2-3 mins na naka off ang AC. tapos chaka mo buksan AC. try mo kung aamoy pa din yung ganun. kasi yung sa innova E kasi ng friend ko, Manual AC nga lang ang difference, kasi alam ko G din unit mo gaya sakin, sa autoclimate din yan. yung aircon nya is nagka amoy din ng ganyan. ganito din pinagawa ko, sabi ko idle lang nya engine 2-3mins before driving na naka off AC, tapos pag binubuksan daw nya AC, never na nagka amoy ng maasim.

Is yours the banawe type ? Why not post a picture? So we can see if its really fake.

I also got an E variant last first week of June from Cubao. AFAIK, the spare tire lock i bought and had installed in the unit, looks genuine OEM Toyota. It has a rubber gasket cover for the keyhole.

Btw, I also have the "old" design toyota oem spare tire lock sporting "solex" name. Bought it 5 yrs ago for my Fortuner. I has a black removable plastic cover piece for the entire bottom quarter of the lock.

ask ko lng how to maintain the glossiness of our innova, i saw kc sa iba mejo lumalabo na ung ilaw nila and ung iba mejo naninilaw ung ilaw (exterior) d na rin masyado glossy or they just repaint it, thats why, nagfafade ba pag ka glossy ng innova natin ?

and any method how do you remove mid deep scratches that cant be polish my rubbing compound and even the 3m brands,.
( does rubbing compound and wax lessen the paint of innova that makes it less glossy in time ? when used often,.

to maintain the paint , you need to protect it from the elements. a good carnauba wax or a sealant is typically used. proper car wash procedure is also a must to prevent or minimize paint defects. compounds and polishes are abrasive in nature will lessen your top coat and should only be used 1x-2x a year.
