to maintain the paint , you need to protect it from the elements. a good carnauba wax or a sealant is typically used. proper car wash procedure is also a must to prevent or minimize paint defects. compounds and polishes are abrasive in nature will lessen your top coat and should only be used 1x-2x a year.

ano po magandang gamitin na carnaubawax or sealant brand that u can recommend and san po nakakabili nun,. can i use it everyday to maintain the original glossy paint of our innova and sir what do you mean protect it from the elements ? meaning ung mga dust particles,hair line scratches, etc? TIA

a wax or sealant will extend your paint's life and smoothness by protecting it from ultaviolet rays , pollution , dust , rain , tree sap and bird droppings ( to some extent ). the last 2 can significantly damage your paint if left for a long time.

the best option you can do is to avail of paint protection program being offered by some detailing shops like bigberts. it includes paint claying and sealant application.then you can maintain the paint by applying spray waxes like OCW ( optimum car wax ) or meguiars ultimate quick wax in between washes.

if budget is tight, you can try microtex nanoglos/nanosliq combo. its available in sachet * around ~40-50 pesos. you can apply this weekly. blade or ace carry these items. these offer some protection but will not last long only for few wash. but still better than no protection at all. I'm using collinite wax and klasse paint sealant for my ride. more expensive than most over the counter wax but durability and protection is excellent.

try to read some post in the detailing forum. a very informative and detailed procedure from car washing to waxing is available especially for newbies. more durable waxes and sealants are also discussed in that forum.

Changed the Innova's tires to Michelin XM-1's. Pansin ko lang bigger yung Michelins sa stock Yokohamas, and need quite a bit more air in them. 40psi na bilog pa rin yung shoulder.

Has anyone tried running tires with a load rating of 102 instead of the stock lr of 94? Parang di bagay sa Innova yung lr of 94. May Michelin Agilis pala yung stock size, sayang.

I have a 2011 Innova J, I noticed na nagba vibrate yung middle door (left and right) pag nadaan sa kalye na maraming guhit. Tugtugtug ang tunog. Anyone who has this problem? I had a 2006 innova j before wala naman ito.

* wakin ok ka sir loyal ka din sa innova, di ka man lang tumikim ng ibang putahe este ng model... wala sir nadidinig sakin kasi puro ako driver,,,, pero i notice a little noise vibration on drivers door when running on rough road, probably sa door handle sa may susian. try mo sir ikaw passeger sa likod para ma pin point kung saan talaga source nito.

I already know kung saan tumutunog, sa sidings ng door. ang question ko lang eh kung may naka experience na nito and ano ang ginawa ng casa to correct this.
