That's true. The RoE is several years down the road and is not fixed. But you'll reap the benefits either way, whether you rack up a lot of mileage or you're always stuck in traffic, you will spend less with a Diesel. With both higher km/L and lower price/L going for it, you're saving money every time you're driving it.
Maintenance is also not a big deal. Yes, there are big ticket parts, but unless you're having the worse luck, chances are, they should last the life of the vehicle.
Not to mention the other advantages of a Diesel engine... better torque and is more impervious (within limits) to flood, just to name a few.
Resale value is also better so whatever extra investments you made when you bought your Diesel vehicle, you're likely to recover it once you sell it later.

plus, you'll smile at the resale value and the speed by which it is snapped up, assuming you took good care of her.
i have a D4d MT bought since new in 2005. perhaps i have been lucky, but i have not had to spend for anything on that engine, save for the consumables.
and, oh! that pair of rear hatch springs!
and it is a joy to drive.
merry Christmas.

December 25th, 2016 04:04 PM #12603Seems that the valet key is useless?? Or I do not know how it works, pero binasa ko naman manual
I tested it somewhere far enough para wala mabulabog in case the alarm sounds
I armed the system with the remote and tried opening with the valet key, hindi nag alarm. The vehicle started with the valet key. Tried it several times pero ganun pa rin talaga

If I would venture a guess, the alarm probably has an arm-delay feature. After you press the arm button, there's a small window of maybe 15-30 seconds where the sensors are not yet active. During this time, opening any of the doors will not trigger the alarm and would likely disarm the alarm altogether. If however the delay is allowed to expire, the sensors becomes active and opening any of the doors will trigger the alarm.

Anong magandang tire replacement for innova? Looking at achilles 205/65r15 (stock size) priced at 2650 each. How much kaya sa ibang brands?

Madalas sa low gear kapag nag release ako ng accelerator parang kumakanyod (sorry for the term) or nagba bounce back and forth yung buong ssakyan. Recently ko lang naramdaman. May connection kaya ito sa pag block ko ng EGR a month ago? 2011 E Diesel. Thanks
