    I still use the old incandescent bulbs as they light up the whole tail light assembly... More character, IMO.

    my 2005 has none. my 2012 has, factory-installed.
    i tried, years ago, in my other vehicle. i used velcro and two-sided tape. it didn't last long. for some reason, the velcro kept detaching. madumi sigoro...

    Depends really on the LED bulb design. It also lights up the whole tail light while the instant on/off characteristic of the LED somewhat makes it look a little modern. Same thing I did with the turn signal lights.

    if the bulb is difficult to access, i would consider LED.
    but if not, i'd still use incandescent. the cost is a major issue...

    If it adds 5HP per bulb, I'm all for it. LOL

    Kidding aside, I had those ordered from Amazon and eBay. All my interior lights are LEDs already.

    Excessive? Maybe. Any regrets? Absolutely not. I still have two pairs of Philips Xtreme Vision T10 LEDs on shipment for the front park lights and rear plate lights.

    when newer, my right side headlight blinked out. twice. as it was not easy to replace, i considered LED after the third time. fortunately, it never happened again. it's still incandescent, years na...

    why it blinked out twice, i still don't know. i checked the housing, the contacts, etc.

    What blinked? The actual headlight H4 bulb or the parklight T10 bulb?

    Pure red 1157 20W COB LED brake lights:


    Pure red T15/T10 15W LED 3rd/High-mount brake light:
