happy driving to all, mukha ala tayo masyado mapag usapan dito hi lux club ngayon. hope every one is doing well with his baby. me nasundan ako na 2005 hi lux na dinikitan sa likod ng V6, where the emblem of J, E or G dapat. sumakit ulo namin sa kakaisisp if me ganun haha. ingat sa pag da drive mga tol and try to research and re consider what tire is best to use also for our hi lux at mabigat sya sa pababa
. parang medyo madulas kc yun stock size ng bridgestone for it. i just recovered from an accident and only if tumigil sasakyan ng 1 foot, she could have been still alive

^sayang naman sir.. madulas talaga ung stock kaya ang gamit namin before is yung bridgestone dueler a/t mas malaki mas maganda ang kapit sa daan

*doc_jez: Possitive po sir. Merong hilux na v6. 4.0l v6 siya. Kaya nga lang sa australia at south america lang yata binebenta. Sa australia meron ngang TRD edition eh. Supercharged V6.

ang dinig ko lumipat daw ng factory ang toyota sa Thailand.. same country... pero bakit ang Hilux lang ata pila? hahahaha...

o baka ayaw lang mag import na kasi papalitan na din ng bagong mukha talaga...

i will soon be owning a TOYOTA HI LUX E (finally ! kasi 2 weeks na medyo parang strada ang gusto kong kunin) kasi halos sa strada vs hi lux review na nababasa ko sa net puro in favor of strada..

just want to know where can i buy cheaper accesories to set up the truck para mag mukhang G naman? Yun lang kasi kayang budget ng company namin para sa mga service vehicle namin na sa sales.. Good thing is we have the option sa brand na kukunin..

End week ng April ko siguro makukuha yung akin, kasi pang 1st na ko sa pila sa CASA.. gusto ko maset up sana siya specially the MAGS...

any advise po sa lahat?

sir, san sa blumentrit po? ano name ng store? para magpsama ako sa kapatid ko? currently kasi am here in north Luzon..

ano po advise nyo to set up the E?

1. kasi want to change the mags but still use the same tires muna para makamenos? (any suggestion where i can buy cheapest but high quality mags)
2. will put bedliner and step board? (already ask toyota-- cost is bedliner-- 10700 and step board with LED is 11700? is this ok or very expensive?) any other store where i can buy?
3. will put roll bar also.. but would prefer 2nd hand for this accesories? any contact po?
4. will install fender also-- as per toyota cost of fender is 16500 carryboy-- cheap or very expensive?

please? need advise thanks..

Hi!

You might want to schedule a trip in banawe...for you to be able to get those accesories for a much cheaper price........in particular I suggest you visit the shops on the E.rod side...like gold cars and the others...because you can haggle easily on those big shops rather than the small shops around...

- regarding mags, i never replaced my mags before kaya wala ako idea, hehehe, my suggestion find a hilux owner who is planning to replace his OEM mags or tires and mags, maybe you can get a good bargain.

-if available okey lng ang 2nd hand, the problem this things last forever, it depends kung maka hanap ka ng seller try sulit.ph or buyandsellph.com

-mahal talaga sa toyota taga talaga dyan, better call your nearest carryboy outlet..hehehe to get a better price sometimes meron pa promo.

post some pics of you new baby, one thing i liked sa E variant is the color of the interior, kung meron lng 4X4 na gray interior malamng yun ang kinuha ko...dati..hehehehe...di dumihin

*scorpio80: bro (or sis) the thing is if you want to go for the G look you seriously need to change your mags and tires to that of the G. The stock width of the E wheel and tire is less than 235mm while the G has 255mm wheels and tires.

I read in your earlier post that you're planning on putting fenders. if that's the case then i suggest you should go with the wider G tires because it will look more proportional than the skinny wheels of the E. In my case I bought 18 inch wheels for my hilux J. without fenders 235 width wheels. Hope it helps.

ok lang kasi sa E aside sa price eh dark na yung interior nya... hindi biege na mahirap linisin.. saka mataas na din kagaya ng sa G...

kung stock rim pa din gamitin nyo kahit wag na kayong mag fender... tama sabi ni mang juan... (mas matipid pa..)

pag mag fender kayo maigi magpalit na kayo ng buong goma gulong ng sa G kasi magmumukhang payat lang yan pag nilagyan nyo ng fender kahit laparan nyo ng gulong eh hindi naman ma compensate ng stock rim ng E...

i suggest wag kayo mag 20" ung hilux ko 150kph wala na sagad na dun..

Kung hindi ka maglalagay ng fender sakto lang ang up to 235 mm. I'll post some pics of my hilux once napa carwash ko na siya. hehehe.
