November 12th, 2009 11:38 PM #742got my toyota hilux G 2weeks ago.. so far so good.. nibenta ko na strada ko.. medyo nanibago ako coz may makaldag ang hilux pero pag dating sa kargahan wala ako masabi sa hilux.. talgang matatag nde tulad sa strada pag kargado na nawawala na ang porma dahil masyado malambot ang molye. in terms naman sa speed halos parehas lang and sa fuel consumption parang mas matipid strada. sa tibay naman malaman ko pag nagamit ko na ng husto. sa strada kase madami lagi nasisira tuwing akyat baba ko ng bundok hehe...

November 14th, 2009 09:05 AM #747Talagang workhorse ang hilux. Since nasa bundok ka lagi, masarap i-set-up yan pang off-road. Firstly, dapat change tires ka, mud terrains mga 32 inches (235/85r16, tall and thin). Tapos, maglagay ka ng snorkel para confident ka sa river crossing (hanapin mo rin kung saan yung ECU). Huwag mo ring kalimutan yung differential and transmision breather hoses para di rin pasukan ng tubig. Later on, kung naiinis ka sa ride, magpalit ka ng shocks at mag-lift ka, mga 2-3 inches (OME is good kung palit pati springs). Tapos nun, ARB winchbar with sidebar, ARB lockers, winch.....etc. Originally Posted by guy^

November 14th, 2009 07:51 PM #750Firstly, wala akong shop, bro. Mahilig lang sa upgrade. Secondly, wala akong new gen hilux at luma na yung sa akin. Nagbibigay lang ng suggestions para ma-enjoy mo lalo yung ride mo.
Pero here goes...
1. tires - hindi ko alam kung kakasya yung 32 inch size sa hilux kasi maliit yung wheel well, pero manipis lang siya kaya baka magkasya din. Tall and thin ang maganda sa putik sa pinas kasi huhukay ng konti para sumayad sa matigastigas na lupa. Mga 7-8k each siguro yung price.
2. snorkel - mga 15k, Safari brand. Order ka sa Rats, mga 2-3 months ang hintay. Meron generic na mas mura pero mahirap humanap.
3. breather hose - hindi ko alam yung pwesto doon sa new gen, pero posibleng meron na. Kung wala, pwedeng DIY using automotive rubber hose.
Yung ibang upgrades, mahal na masyado. Kung gusto mo, pumunta ka sa 199 OffRoadHouse, sa Manila, para magpa-estimate. Magaling sila. May website din sila para makita mo yung mga ginawa nila.

November 17th, 2009 07:41 PM #752Hi guys, ask ko lang if the 2.5 engine of hilux E ok for hi-way run and sometime loaded with not so heavy cargo. I checked the specs and 102 HP lang pala...I like the unit mag wheels lang ang kulang but with the 102 HP....ok lang ba?

mine replaced with rs 5000 pero sabi rear lang daw meron

December 2nd, 2009 03:17 AM #760Good day! matagal na ako nagiisip ano pwede gawin para gumanda stance ng hilux E (2007 Model) ko, stock mags niya kasi is 15" Innova mag wheels, hindi proportionate sa body. Ano kaya ok gawin? if papalitan ko lang ang series ng goma, ano ok ipalit? If papalitan ko naman yung mags? pwede ba mags ng 2006-2007 rav4 ilagay ko? 16" Yun tas 5 holes lang diba?
