just wanna ask about the fuel consumption of Hilux 2.7 VVT-i..??? i've been searching about this here in the threads pero wala ako makitang info...

i own a Fortuner 2.7G and so far it can do 9-12km/L... i just want to confirm kung mas matipid ba ang Hilux 2.7G knowing it has a lighter body compared to the Fortuner... BUT, since it has open rear, there is a huge amount of air drag so it will contribute to a lower fuel consumption... so which is which??

actually, Isuzu DMAX na ang kukunin but we changed our mind na nung malaman namin na mas malaki ang matitipid ng Hilux sa maintenance... if the Hilux 2.7G is thriftier than the Fortuner 2.7G, kuha kami second hand... kung hindi naman, then we will be getting a brand new 3.0 D-4D (AT is required for business purposes)...

Tanong ko lang, ung 4 x 2 na hilux ANO ung naikot at nagdadala na gulong sa likod? Kaliwa ba o kanan?
Is the other one just simply roll ?
This will help us navigate the road with mud better if we knew what wheel really spin and drive.

WALA PO. Power always goes to the wheel with the least resistance. It's an open differential type po (the most common type of differential). So whichever wheel will hit the mud (and hence will have the lesser resistance), majority of power will go to that wheel. It's not a defect. That's how open differentials really work.
