SA told me the 12th gen is estimated to come out end of this year. I guess the first batch will be out Jan 2020.

That's exactly 6 yrs after the Gen 11. Parang ang bilis ata nag change ng model. Anyway, even my SA said to wait it out LOL.

Wish they’d bring the hatchback version with the 2.0 manual.

A 2.0L MT compact car? Nope, it’s not going to happen with Toyota. I doubt the current Altis 2.0V AT sells that much compared to the Mazda3 2.0L.

If you want a 2.0L MT car in a compact platform, it’s a choice between a WRX MT for 2M or the Civic Type R for 3M.

Sales were quite low for the Civic FD 2.0 MT, only around 200 for 2006-2007. Honda decided to take them off their product lineup in 2008.

The Lancer EX GT did not sell much compared to the GT-A. I guess sales might be the same also as the Civic FD 2.0 MT. The GT-A was quite successful though.

Ford also sold the Focus 2.0 TDCI with MT tranny in 2007-2008 but it was replaced with the DCT model in 2009.
