They're actually useful. The Altis has a short hood so you can't really see the edge of the car. When maneuvering through tight spaces, it helps.

I just turn it off when driving with a lot of motorcycles around.

I noticed some malls have parking barriers which might scrape the lower portion of the front bumper, specially when the car is loaded.
You can add a rhino lip to protect your bumper.

thanks for the suggestions! by the way, i read some pages back that you get your car serviced in Toyota BGC, so their service must be acceptable with you. Have you tried any other casas which gave OK service? I'm just planning for my 1k PMS plus the sensor install.

I noticed that there is a slight delay when I press on the gas pedal. Initially I thought it was lagging due to the electronic controls but I find that resting my right foot lightly depressing the gas pedal does not increase the RPM. The first 5mm or so of the gas pedal depression does nothing basically. Can I have my gas pedal adjusted to have this removed? I'm more used to the feel of the older cable system with no slack

Unfortunately, no adjustment. That's what I don't like about the Altis also, especially as I have a manual.

There's always lag between your first input and when the engine actually responds. It's a really awful drive by wire system that's too concerned about efficiency that it's absolutely no fun. Other DBW systems are more responsive.

No experience with other casas for my 11th gen. But we had a 10th gen before which I had serviced in Toyota Shaw. Both branches are okay.

Toyota BGC has decent service, another thing is insurance claim which is really efficient. But i've yet to see their paint work - For sure outsourced ito.

I have a manual too and it feels different. What I find annoying is when the vehicle hanging at a decline and I end up applying more gas than I like to move the vehicle. I guess I just need to get used to it more to make this smoother.

This is where you had your front and rear sensors installed right? Would you have a contact there you can share?

thanks AltisAndMZ3FAN!, I will go to them on my 1k PMS. As for the Unichip and IHE, these are from Speedlab right? These are like a 10-15 whp gain right? Sulit ba? I don't have experience in modding cars so I don't know how this will feel.
