Hi guys, new guy here. Just want to ask if any of you has still the manual for 2016 Toyota Avanza 1.3L MT. My mother in law just transfer her Avanza to us (my wife) and want to learn all features. Im driving Suzuki Alto and puzzled sa mga ibang dashboard warnings ni Avanza. I am willing to pay for a copy mga idol. Maraming salamat!

Tanong lang sa mga 1.3 at owners, kamusta po performance nito?
Kapg full load ba, 7person paakyat halimbawa ng antipolo eh hindi
Naman hirap? Hirap kumuha ng 1.5 pati 1.3, pero mas malaki
Chances kapag 1.3.

Drive on low gears and don't really expect much power especially on uphill and almost full load.

Good buy pa ba avanza considering alternative mpvs in the market now?

Needs:
- space. only 1-2 pax most of the time so i dont need the seats but i want the space an mpv affords. Im not a light packer.
- medyo matibay na pangilalim. Im not a careful driver and i frequently drive out of town. I feel a ladder frame rwd would last longer/be easier to maintain vs a fwd monocoque.

I don't want the size and heft of an suv. Original plan was a jimny kaso masyado naman maliit. The only in-between i could find is the avanza. Im looking at the 1.5 at. Looks wala ako masyadong paki. Comfort could be fixed...im thinking just add comfortable seat covers ok na. I also don't want to spend money on a vehicle...focusing my resources to complete buying a house asap. Although at 1M medyo steep na rin...

Drove the 2017 1.3 automatic in a trip to Zambales.
Acceleration is ok, it can outrun the adventure and crosswind. I just had to step on the accelerator harder and it changes gear at 5k to 6k rpm for accelerating sa uphill and flat roads.
In the expressway it isn't stable at 100kph and steering is to light at those speed. It is best to keep it at 80kph. Had the chance to gun it to 140kph it was scary.
Btw it is not also very comfortable but tolerable.
It gave me 8km/l on pure high driving

that's terrible!

It is still on the break in period. Filled up before leaving zambales it was near empty na. Travelled 332kms. Full tank was at 38++ltrs
