in addtion, check your manual para sure...you can disarm the passive just follow the instruction sa manual.

my alarm also comes with anti-hijacking feature....but you need to turn it on/off manually...the risk is he alarm will continue sounding until your batt runs out and I think at some point it will also make your car stop.... and if you are not able to get out of the car while the car jacker is on board baka mag panic at ikaw ang mapagbalingan....

you can have the anti-hijacking activated yun lang when you are inside with the car jacker make sure you turn it off until you're able to get out of ur car

wala pong manual yung stock alarm...manual po nung bago kong alarm yung sinasabi ko na i-consult for instruction.

I got code alarm (i evaluated yung mga features na i think best suits my needs). sa casa ko na pina-install kasi sabi nila ma vovoid daw ang warranty dahil may mga idadagdag pang 2 actuator wires and modules...the reason is kung mapapansin nyo pag press mo yung lock sa driver side hindi sabay sabay bumababa may konting delay...so they have to install an actuator pa! Inabot po ako ng 7k.

For that price, though, I could get a better alarm na digital na siya yun nga lang I risk voiding the warranty hmmmmpppp kaya ayun sa casa na lang ako nagpakabit.

Yung lumang alarm ko po working pa rin pero hindi nya maa-activate yung features ng new alarm ko...so ngayon 3 remote ko. but i only use the 2 remotes that came with my new alarm

the alarm i got has the ff. features:

arming (silent arming/disarm)
valet mode
intrusion warning signals which tells you if there was an instrusion thru a series of flashes (the no of flashes indicates the intrusion zone) while the car was armed
remote panic
anti-hijack mode
option for auto trunk release (but hindi ko na ito pinakabit kasi may additional pang babayaran)


yung mga na search ko sa net yung remote may capability to tell you na may intrusion attempt while it's on going....yung ang susunod kong bibilhin pag tapos na warranty....plus pwede ikabit sa cam so you can view the status of your vehicle anytime....hanep....para bang high end yung car!!!

thanks * Juana.. teka meron na bang motion sensor yang code alarm?? so pag binasag window mag a alarm na sya?? walang silbi kasi tong alarm nang stock.. parang inde alarm.. keyless entry lang talaga sya..

meron na po sir...the model I got naaadjust ang sensitivity....naka-set sya to activate pag may impact lang unlike yung iba na may dumaan lang na motor nag-aactivate na...I specifically instructed the one that installed it na set yung sensitivity pag may impact lang....tapos pagkaset niya tinest niya sa harap namin....if I hit it hindi tumutunog but if my boys hit Vanzie nag rereklamo.....hehehe....

istorbo sa mga kapitbahay kapag super sensitive...dito sa amin may car na super sensitive ayun buong gabi nag-aalarm siya lang ang hindi nagising...by morning paos na yung alarm nya .... dead batt....

good nite po .... early trip tomorrow to DFA .... o pag may mabagal kayong makasabay sa kalye mga kapatid konting pasensya lang malamang ako na yon .... dapat kasi may courtesy lane din for drivers like me

Oo nga MADDAM Jane, ako I paid 7300++ for an alarm AVT brand sa TYT Bal but its not a code alarm and kulang kulang ang features. Tsk tsk...

QUESTION PO: I am due for my 10K PMS, is it advisable to shift back to ordinary oil kasi low mileage po ako.

6/2/2007 1K PMS ako pina-fully synthetic ako ng SA.
9/15/ check-up but did not replace oil
12/22/07 suppose to be for 6 mos PMS kaya lang the SA advised me na bumalik na lang kasi ang odo reading ko then was only 5944km and since naka fully synth naman ako ibalik ko na lang for change oil when i reach 8K or more.

as of today my odo reading is 8,300km pa lang
