Good day fellow Avanza Club Pilipinas members. After a few exchange of e-mails with the administrator of www.cardomain.com, finally they granted my request in behalf of Avanza Club Pilipinas to include the Avanza model under the Toyota selection. Hindi kasi yata nila alam na meron Toyota Avanza. I explained to them na maybe it was because the Avanza was designed mainly for the Asian market (although now it's being sold in Africa as well). Now you can upload and post all of your Avanza photos para makita ng mga automotive enthusiasts sa buong mundo. I know marami sa ating co-members ang marami nang upgrades and modifications sa kanilang mga Avanzas. Ang Avanza ko pa lang ang nasa list (actually i have no modifications yet, it's all stock). Hopefully many would "show-off" their Avanzas in the near future on probably the best modified vehicles website around. See your rides soon!

Good move sir. I will upload mine kung meron na upgrade. As of now stock pa rin yung avanza ko. YUng security glass etching pa lang ang nadagdag. Saw the images of your avanza in their website.

pansin ko kasi di na smooth ang function ng wipers ng avanza namin. parang nagvivibrate pag matagal na naka-on kahit malakas ulan. lalo na pag naka-2. i tried na higpitan ang pagkakabit and using wiper fluid but the problem is still there. what do you guys think?

Nangyari na sa akin. Parang lumagkit ang wiper blade dahil sa dumi ng mag-park ako sa ilalim ng puno. Nilinis ko ang Rain-X (or pwede siguro windshield cleaner). Nawala naman ang vibration.

My wife and I went to 3 different Toyota Showrooms earlier today (Manila Bay, Pasong Tamo, and Ortigas-C5) to inquire about the Avanza G. We're planning to get one through a car plan sa office (pero bank financing sya either Metrobank or Banco de Oro). Based on the quotations that we got, medyo iba iba yung amounts na binigay. Pwede po bang makahingi ng advise at tulong sa inyo? Lalo na yung mga kakakuha lang ng Avanza Eto po mga tanong ko:

1. Kung bank financing, yung Chattel ba eh sa Toyota dealer din binabayaran or sa bank? 20% dp, 60mos yung tinitignan naming terms. What we got were P28,609, P24,394, and P24,565 respectively. Pwede pa bang pababaan yung Chattel Mortgage fee?

2. Dun po sa mga kumuha ng Avanza G, magkano inabot ng 1st year insurance nyo? Again, ibaba iba yung quotations na binigay, P30,812 (+1,800 na TPL), P28,000, tsaka P30,000. Ganun ba talaga kamahal insurance pag Avanza G? I read in previous post na P17K inabot ng insurance, is that for Avanza J or G? Mga magkanong amount yung reasonable?

3. Tapos, ano po ba ang tamang process? Kuha muna ba ng bank approval? Or magpareserve and mag downpayment sa dealer? Pasensya na at 1st time naming kukuha ng brand new na sasakyan hindi pa po namin alam ang tamang process.

4. Lahat ba ng Avanza G ngayon eh dual airbags na? Ang sabi kasi ng SA sa Manila Bay at Pasong Tamo eh driver-side airbags lang daw.

I bought the rota rims (2nd hand) at P4,5k then had it repainted and polished at P2k. Yung mounting cost P100 per wheel. Tapos 16 lug nuts (P35 each = P560), 4 na pito (P50 each = P200) wheel balancing P100. All in all P7,760. I get to keep the oem steel rims and wheel covers.

I am having a hard time finding center caps that would fit in. Old school rota daw kasi to.

Lahat ng AVANZA G ngayon may ABS na at Dual-Air Bags. Kapag may-offer sayo na AVANZA G na sa Driver Side lang ang airbag. Old production yan, if i'm not mistaken, yan yung mag production last year before August 2007 when the ABS and additional front passenger SRS airbag came out.

Hi proud daddy share ko sayo ung nakuha ko sa Toyota Pasong Tamo c/o KAREN ANDAYA (0920-968-0388).

Ang unit ko ay 1.5 G M/T nakuha ko lang last Wednesday (Jan 15,2008)

My LOAN is in PSBANK at ito ung nakuha ko sa kanila:

Total Amount : P778,000(TCP) - P30,000 (discount in any tyt dealer) = P748,000

D/P = P160,000 (almost over 20%)

Loan Amount = P748,000 (Total Amount) - P160,000 (D/P) = P588,000

I plan to pay it for 1 year with 1 month advance deposit at ito ung aking interest at monthly payment:

Interest for 12 months : 4.8%
Monthly payment : P51,253

Ang Chattel ko sa PSBANK at binigay nila ng P12,026 na i wave nila ung provincial rate kasi taga bulacan ako.

sa PASONG TAMO:

Insurance ko is P17,000 pero wal dito ang acts of god.
LTO registration is P7,500

Side Visor lang ang na libre sa akin pero mabait at maasikaso naman itong si KAREN ng pasong tamo.

Before ko nakuha ung unit ko, I negotiate 1st with PSBANK then sa dealer, my 1st option talaga is sa Balintawak kasi malapit at kilala ko na ung lugar kaso wala sila unit na type ko. At pasong tamo lang ang meron that time.

Dual airbag at may Anti Braking System (ABS) na ang 1.5G....

Hope this will help. parehas tayo ng sitwasyon before ko kunin ang avanza ko...at itong forum na ito na binubuo ng mababait at matulungin na owner ng avanza ang nakatulong sa akin...

BDO yung chattel ko, sa BDO din ako nagbayad.. depende kasi sa amount of loan yan eh.. pero binayaran ko for 70% loan eh Php15,138.00 lang

Sa BDO din ako kumuha nang Insurance, GENERALI sila, binayaran ko is Php17,218.46 with AOG na yun.

Halos sabay naman.. pero mahalaga magpa approved ka muna nang loan.. tapos pag approved na tsaka naman itatanong kung saang dealer ka kukuha.. so dapat nakausap mo na din yung dealer.. so yung SA mo na makikipag coordinate sa bank.. then pupunta ka na lang don to pay the down.. then wait ka na lang kung kailan ma re release yung unit.

4. Lahat ba ng Avanza G ngayon eh dual airbags na? Ang sabi kasi ng SA sa Manila Bay at Pasong Tamo eh driver-side airbags lang daw.

Unit na lang hinahanap namin... just this morning tumawag ako ng Makati, meron pa daw J na blue metallic... pinaayos ko na sa SA sa Balintawak kung kaya nilang i-swap...keeping my fingers crossed here, sana makuha.

Kung Sticker, mas simple - mas maganda. kung pwede nga natin i-limit lang sa 3 or 2 colors para di masyadong mahal ang pagpapagawa since nagsisimula pa lang tayo, wala pa tayong gaanong pondo. Yung T-Shirt na lang siguro ang gandahan natin para maka-attract ng attention since pwede tayo gumawa ng malaki na print sa likod. yung sticker usually maliliit lang, kung over-design hindi na gaanong readable ang mga letters at emblem sa malayo, kaya mas maganda simplehan na lang natin.

i agree with U... although lahat un magaganda, lalong mahirap ngang pumili pag madaming choices.
