    Maybe they're hoping it will blow over and be forgotten. All it takes is a few weeks and maybe another news item that takes the spotlight away.

    As uls said, Filipinos have a short memory. People need to keep the pressure on.

    Compensation i think is just one side of the coin. The other issue regarding casa abuse should be given more attention imho, because it affects everyone. Punishment - enough to let dealers realize that this has to stop.

    +1... about time. although I doubt it given the company's size and resources. I also heard that abscbn is one of the major shareholders of Toyota.
