Yep, yan nga yung point ko. Despite walang nakasulat explicitly na service can only be done sa casa, dun pa din talaga bagsak mo para masunod yung warranty requirements.

July 18th, 2017 05:28 AM #202Share ko lang din and recent experience ko with Toyota Pasong Tamo.
I needed to claim replacement of fortuner windshield kasi nagkaroon ng mahabang crack when hit by debris in NLEX. TPT ang nearest sa office and bahay so I chose that dealer. I am unsure but seems that for all services other than maintenance, TPT forwards units to what they refer to as "workshop" in Fort Bonifacio which they say is about 8km away from TPT.
I also noted the avg consumption na naging more than 4km/l lang compared to 12+ km/l nang ipasok.
As for me, I will try to still check in our unit in the casa until the last batch of warranty period PMS kasi nakikita ko naman pag PMS lang. Pero definitely hindi na for repair services na makakahanap naman ng mas maayos na service center.
** to note, meron ako nakasabay na at least 2 other customers na nagrereklamo sa TPT about the repair of their units. 1 is masyado na matagal, 1 is kulang un ginawa. BTW, BPI M/S claims kami so i will even give in some benefit of the doubt na baka hindi masyado ok ang coordinator ng BPI M/S sa TPT.
Overall, let's be more careful and vigilant and even OC sa mga vehicles natin especially when servicing. more power to tsikot and tsikoteers!

July 19th, 2017 09:06 AM #208ano daw ang reason why customers are not routinely allowed to view the workers doing their car?
where i have mine done (otis), their workbay is just a few steps away from the outside, with no barrier to hinder vision and footwork. i can stay out, a few meters away, and see the mechanics doing their stuff.
but i stay inside the customer bay, anyway. ma-init sa labas, e.Last edited by dr. d; July 19th, 2017 at 09:10 AM.
