New one will be out in the Philippines 2020 earliest . Getting ready for that one (slowly and tiny step by tiny step)

Hey Zix...why did you put a throttle controller? The ECT Power button of our landcruisers serves a similar purpose. And how did the tuning of your LC200 turn out? Is there black smoke?

I have a DTPChip tuned LC200 which is much much faster than my other stock LC200. But the black smoke pisses me off. Though i do admit the stock LC200 is kinda underpowered when overtaking. No wonder a lot of people tune theirs. I just cant stomach seeing the black smoke.

Still waiting for a tuning solution that also solves the smoke issue.

EQ has his standards and even though the LC200 has 500Nm of torque available but it has to push such a big body. You can't blame EQ if his other rides are more nimble (Mini, Q5, Mustang GT).

It is a heavy car and the torque arrives in a very small window. Higher rpms it just drops off like a stone. Overtaking at 60 kph on full throttle you feel the lack of power. This happens to me a lot in Morong going to/from Anvaya cove. Nice roads there but overtaking is a PITA with the LC200 due to the power:weight ratio. Really have to tune it. The difference is very noticeable.

Have driven the LC200 all over Albay. You'd think a 4.5L V8 is ultra-powerful but in reality it suffers from the same lack of top end and sluggishness of all heavy diesels. It does weigh 2,650 kg after all...

Power to weight ratio is just 87 hp/ton. The 2.4L Montero makes 93 hp/ton.
