i'm basically clueless about egr blanking and even occ. that's why i need somebody highly recommended and trusted by tsikot people.

Vinj, may mga nabibili na aluminum blanking plates for 2.5d4d from Thailand. Nakita ko sa fortuner club. Meron din daw kay dr.g nakapost sa taas. Alam ko 1/2 inch thick aluminum plates siya. Tanggal na talaga EGR.

Papablock ko sana yung sa Pajero ko kaya lang wala ko makita shop na gumagawa nun or meron na plate for that.

sir pa pm naman po magkano inabot blanking ni sir zix and kung pwede patanggal ko na rin egr ko, read from here na ok naman maski wala na egr. mine is a 2.5 d4d 2nd gen fortuner. changed my air filter to hurricane but no significant improvement, anemic pa rin manakbo. baka pag eto mod ko mas malaki difference sa performance.thanks

happily blanked our 2nd gen fortuner 2.5L d4d with egr blanking plates ...... a bit more bottom end power. a bit mpre responsive. you will feel the difference at the first few acceleration you will get addicted to it.

you cant go wrong with blanking it. use UNiOil euro4 compliant diesel fuel and it'll feel great


i got mine with JC GARAGE .... check their facebook page. lots of toys for dmax, fortuner, montero....

Aside from the egr delete mod has any here done the oil catch mod have done this mod using off the shelf items and a homemade filtration CAN, so far no blow by oil residue coming from the PCV outlet is reduced to a minimum before it enters the intake manifold.
Should anyone be interested just give pm will try to give some advise on how to..... ;-)

just bought a fortuner(yung may vnt) last december and very much interested sa EGR blanking, would you recommend to blank it as early as possible? I think this would void the warranty of the vehicle, is it detectable po ba pag nagpa PMS? just incase magkaproblema sa makina due to egr blanking, most likely ano yung pedeng masira o maapektuhan? tsaka saan po kaya may nag egr blanking sa south area, alabang muntinlupa area.

Any shop sa south area na nag EGR blanking sa engine na may VNT, or it is just the same lang with the D-4D engine na walang vnt?
