Upper mangement seem to focus only on sales figures.
AS much as possible I do not go to CASA. Madaming hocus pocus na puede mangyari. Antay ka pa ng matagal. Sayang oras dyan.
Dealers replace parts and not repair for a couple of reasons ... one would be to protect the brand image ... imagine an authorized dealer "repairing" a damage part and then that repaired part breaks down ... people would then think that such brand does not have reliability and durability ... then there are legal reasons ... consider that said repair part breaks down and causes accident, injury or something worse ... then of course there's the usual suspect ... for profit ...
Okey ang casa to get secondary opinion sa mga delicate problem then bangga mo sa opinion outside.

Naalala q cousin ng wife q my ford escape xa, gnamit nila then park for an hour bigla ayaw magstart, pumunta cousin ng wife q s casa to tell the story and asked for a solution sabi lng s casa mapapaandar nila un it would cost 15k daw, hnd dinala ang ginwa nmin ngsearch lng kmi s net ng mga ganung issue and we end up replacing fuel pump costs us 1250php... Just sharing...
kahit sa mga intl training manuals, its always replace the assembly part... sa pinoy standards lang naman kase repair if possible...
i will give an example...
Q: if electric condenser fan is identified not working, what shall you do
A1: replace condenser fan assembly
A2: replace condenser fan motor
A3: replace vehicle
A4: replace fan only
correct answer dyan is: A1
back to the topic: i still dont trust the casa hehe, thank god he game me skills for DIY...
if you want to do it right, you must do it by yourself - syempre dapat may skills and training ka or else it may turn out to be a very expensive mistake

Yup it pays to know your car well.
I remember the story of a lawyer who sued a service co. for replacing parts that weren't worn out. The company ended up settling the case for a 6 figure amount. Now they don't accept cars of lawyers anymore.
For some parts replacing the assembly is overkill. Imagine the difference in cost of replacing a couple of bushings instead of the whole control arm assembly.
The mechanic who was checking the bushings of my car mentioned that a certain brand needs the whole control arm assembly replaced instead of individual parts when needing replacement. Don't know anyone who owns a vehicle under that make ATM, but hearing inputs like these from mechanics makes you really want to stick with the known brands when purchasing a car.
had my 5k PMS sa mitsu a month ago. now after reading all these posts/feedback, parang gusto ko nalang tuloy bumalik ulit sa suking gas station ko. 4 months palang yung oto ko at 6k KMs na tinakbo so i am nearing 10k KMs nadin in about 2-3 months from now so nag-iisip na ako if ipapasok ko padin ba sa casa as for 10k PMS, they charge customers for ~php5000 for the labor only. concern ko lang pag nilabas ko is pano pag dumating yung 40k KMs sa ODO ko at need ko magpalit ng CVT fluids and the likes, medyo delicate ang pagpapalit nito diba? baka di kaya ng suking gasolinahan to![]()
good call sir *dr. d, now i'm wondering how much mitsu charges "out of warranty" customers for changing CVT fluid, time belt, etc.
Maraming magaling na outside shops. Lalo na i assume mitsu na cvt, so i think mirage yan?
