of course! what else should it say! i have yet to read a manual that says "...or any reasonable facsimile". heh heh.

well, i have been bringing my 2005 innova to these gas stations for the oil change, since after the 3rd year. off-the-gas station-shelf products, all. 8 years and counting. no issues naman.

What I do is buy the parts/materials prior to going to the shop. I just pay for the labor, limited kasi yung offerings ng shops you might end up using kung ano lang ang meron sila.

i also know of someone, who buys his consumables from the casa, then has the gas attendant use them on his car.

    yespo.
i think, many items are cheaper if one purchased them from non-casa stores.
but there are car owners who think it is better to buy from the casa, price notwithstanding. they feel the quality is best, if purchased from the casa.

We only go to casa when we have Check engine/tranny/airbag/EPS light na di na kaya basahin ng ebay OBD2 scanner ko. Pa diagnose ko sa scanner nila then ako na mag repair and reset ng code.

Pag nag ka bonus sa pasko hopefully makabili na ng high grade ecu scanner para di na dependent sa casa unless mag labas ng ECU update like sa case ng all new Fortuner. Of course, even if you have a good ecu scanner that can perform ecu reflash/update, the updated version software/patch will still come from them(casa.)

38 pesos singil ng casa sa basahan.
dalawa raw ginamit. that's 76 pesos.
but since they actually used only one basahan, making it appear to be two by cutting it in half using that cutter, you should have been billed only 38 pesos, not 76 pesos.
    na-overcharge ka ng 38 pesos.
but you got a 66 peso cutter for the 38.
    you're ahead.
    heh heh.

Why not just remove those fat execs sa top tier.

[emoji107]
