December 13th, 2013 11:17 AM #11Sir nori,
Ayos at nakita mo na problem. Have you tried checking the cylinder head bolts kung mahigpit? Better check it with a torque wrench. Kung cylinder 4 ang may leak, dapat kasi di basta basta affected si cylinder 3 kung gasket lang ang problem. Maaring di nahigpitan ng maayos before?Just in case magpaapalit ka ng head gasket, its best na isabay na din yung re-seat (grind kung ok pa) at palit valve seals. Medyo mahal din kasi labor. I think gagastos ka diyan ng 4k to 6k (parts & labor). Good luck!
"also, di kaya fake yung replacement gaskets na kinabit dati? aside sa leak na nakita ko, may soot na namumuo sa bandang port ng intake manifold." - sign of leak also

December 16th, 2013 06:13 PM #13done repairs. turns out the intake manifold to port #4 is cracked and broken. i had the aluminum manifold welded, replaced the gasket and voila! all cylinders are alive and kicking again. =)
still have a little vibration though. so... normal na ba to sa 96 model na sasakyan with an old design engine?
It is repairable. But as oj88 mentioned, it is messy (when repaired) and best used as a last resort.
