    Hello all,

What Im really looking forward to is some real word feedback on how the 1.5 liter engine will perform. So far from most of the feedback I have read are quite vague or too neutral.

If the Rush uses the same engine as the Avanza's then I fear it may just turn out to be under powered as well.

Or baka praning lang ako haha

Most Avanzas have the 1.3 variant.

You can expect more real world feedback once the first batch of buyers get their units.

Yep, the same engine as the Avanza, Vios, and Yaris. It will be fine for the usual commuter trips like the other 3 vehicles. Don't expect too much sporty performance out of it.

Suzuki is not a rebadged. Masyado lang na hype sa Pinas ang ibang brands.

"underpowered" is a relative term parang sa pilipinas matangkad ka, pagdating mo netherlands pandak ka na

as for rush expect it to be sluggish but it'll get you there but sometimes you'll have to resort to low gears and/or high-RPM to do it

Kahit naman sa ibang bansa, mababa ang sales ng Suzuki relative to the competition so it's not a PH-specific phenomenon.

There were only 600 Vitaras sold last quarter compared to the 1800+ Ecosports, 1400+ BRVs and 2000+ reservations for the Xpander. With the Rush coming in, you can expect Toyota to also get a big chunk of the pie.

Most buyers don't care if it's rebadged or not. The Wigo and Avanza are also from Daihatsu but they're part of the top 10 best selling cars in the country.

[mostly] Everyone conveniently forgets that Daihatsu is a FULLY OWNED subsidiary of Toyota.

i.e. wala nang ibang shareholder and might as well be managed by the parent company.

    Another WHOLLY OWNED subsidiary? Lexus.

I doubt people were hating on the ES when it was just a 'rebadged' Camry

perhaps the question is, do the toyota secrets filter into the daihatsu manufacture?

by the same token, how much information are exchanged between hyundai and kia motor vehicles?

    and volkswagen and skoda?

Is it me only. Parang maliit yung upuan sa harap ng rush or maliit lang headrest nya?
